Objective: To explore the location of the retinal damaged by high intraocular pressure through measuring the thickness of ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer thickness(GCIPLT)and retinal nerve fibre layer thickness(RNFLT)after an episode of primary acute angle-closure glaucoma(APACG)by spectral domain optical coherence tomography(SD-OCT).In order to offer references to explore the mechanism of the optic nerve damaged in APACG..Methods: 1 ? 40 eyes of 20 consecutive patients with an episode of APACG in the department of ophthalmology in Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical College. From July2015 to May 2016 were enrolled. The intraocular pressures of all patients in the study were controlled in the normal range after treatment.Treatment including laser peripheral iridotomy, trabeculectomy, trabecular resection combined cataract surgery according to the anterior chamber angle.2?Inspection method:Line of macular module and signal intensity of 6 or more scanning, line Analysis of Ganglion cells use Cirrus HD – OCT.Refer to the previous literature:Select minimum ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer thickness, mean ganglion cell-inner plexiform layer thickness and mean retinal nerve fibre layer thickness as the main research targets. The three parameters in the diagnosis of glaucoma efficiency is high.3?Follow-up:Follow-up time was 2 days,15 days,3 months and 6 months after the intraocular pressure maintained in the normal range by treatment.Mainly including follow-up indicators:Iop after treatment, min GCIPLT,m GCIPLT and m RNFLT.4?Statistical analysis:The SPSS 19.0 statistical package was used.Paired-samples t-test attacks and the contralateral eyes.Repetitive measurement deviation analysis was used for analyzing min GCIPLT,m GCIPLT,m RNFLT in the onset of eyes after treatment. Results: 1?IOP: An average of intraocular pressure of 15 days,3 months and 6 months after the treatment were 12.98±2.76 mm Hg,15.00±4.10 mm Hg,13.50±3.12 mm Hg.2?There was no significant difference in min GCIPLT and m GCIPLT,m RNFLT became thicker in the attacked eyes than the controled eyes at 2 days and 15 days after treatment.min GCIPLT,m GCIPLT and m RNFLT became thinner in the attacked eyes than the contralateral eyes after 3 and 6 months treatments. In the attacked eyes self-comparison,m GCIPLT and m RNFLT after treatment at 3 months,6 months thinner than 2 days and 15 days after treatment(P < 0.05),and 6 months was more apparent.Min GCIPLT at 6 months thinner than 3 months after treatment. Conclusion: Acute increased intraocular pressure can cause minGCIPLT thinning,RGCs damage. The retinal ganglion cells damage caused by high intraocular pressure may be retrograde. That is optic fiber edema, and then RGCs apoptosis.
