The Efficacy Of Trimetazidine In Diabettic Patients (No Less Than 10 Years) With Chronic Heart Failure

Objective:To investigate the effects of trimetazidine(TMZ)in patients with chronic heart failure and type 2 diabetes(T2DM)that the course is over 10 years on the basis of conventional treatment.Methods:On the order of selected 160 hospitalized patients with meets the criteria in the second cadres health care department and the endocrine department of xinjiang uygur muncipal people's hospital from January 2013 to December 2015.Divided the selected object into control group and treatment group,80 cases each,both groups were given routine treatment,the treatment group was given the trimetazidine(20mg 3times/day)on the basis of conventional treatment.16 weeks after treatment,then observed and compared the difference of NYHA classification,left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),6-minutes walking distance(6MWD),left ventricular end diastolic diameter(LVEDD),left ventricular end systolic diameter(LVESD),B-type natriuretic peptide level(BNP),fasting blood glucose(FBG)and Hb A1 c between before and after treatment in the both groups.To analyze the data with statistical package for social science(SPSS)17.0 software.Results: 1.After treatment:The clinical total effective rate was improved in both groups,the 6-minutes walking distances and LVEF increased significantly,B-type natriuretic peptide level,left ventricular end diastolic diameter,left ventricular end systolic diameter significantly decreased,there was significant difference(all P<0.05),but the fasting blood glucose and Hb A1 c there were no significant difference in both groups(all P<0.05).2.After treatment:The clinical total effective rate of the observation group(81%)was significantly higher than that of control group(66%),there was significant difference(P<0.05);6 minutes walking distance and left ventricular ejection fraction of the observation group were significantly lower than that of control group,B-type natriuretic peptide level,left ventricular end diastolic diameter,left ventricular end systolic diameter,fasting blood glucose and Hb A1 c of the observation group were significantly higher than that of control group,there was significant difference(all P<0.05).Conclusion:Trimetazidine can improve the cardiac function and the metabolism of blood glucose in the diabetes(no less than 10 years)complicated with chronic heart failure patients,the efficacy is safe,it is worth to widely applied in clinical.
