Objective: Retrospective analysis 142 cases of ovarian cancer before and after chemotherapy in patients with the clinical characteristics of change of blood sugar, the factors that result in the change of blood glucose after adjuvant chemotherapy for ovarian cancer and its prognostic relevance. Methods: In our hospital from January 2008 to August 2015 were treated 142 cases of postoperative patients with ovarian cancer were retrospectively analyzed, collecting blood sugar data before and after chemotherapy, analysis before and after chemotherapy in patients with blood sugar change, the sifting of sugar metabolic disorder patients, analyze the clinical characteristics of data, the incidence of postoperative blood glucose metabolic disorders in patients with ovarian cancer, etiology, and associated risk factors in the analysis of the system, and then study the law of blood glucose changes after chemotherapy and the relationship between influencing factors and prognosis.Results:(1)142 patients treated in our hospital and achieve satisfactory tumor cells to destroy the loss, both by pathological diagnosis of ovarian epithelial carcinoma, age of 34.5 ~ 72,the median age of 52.5 years old.Age 46-65 is given priority to,mainly concentrated in a total of 97 cases(97/142)accounted for about 68.31%,of which 46 to 55 years old,a total of 46 cases, accounting for about 32.39%,56 to 65 years,a total of 51 cases, accounting for about 35.92%.142 cases of patients with an average follow-up of 32.5 months(16 months ~ 50 months).(2)the fasting blood glucose to normal before chemotherapy,142 patients(6 cycles)after adjuvant chemotherapy abnormally elevated fasting glucose 37 cases, accounting for 26.06% of the total cases(37/142),among them 28 patients with impaired fasting glucose regulation, accounted for 19.72%(28/142),total 9 cases diagnosed with diabetes, the total accounted for 6.34%(9/142).The CTCAE levels of patients with elevated fasting blood sugar were concentrated at levels 1 to 3,with 1 in 30 of them, with a ratio of 81.08%.(3)the history of high blood pressure in normal blood glucose group and abnormal group were measured by x2,p < 0.05,and the difference was statistically significant.(4)there were 42 cases(29.58%)of BMI < 23,and 8 cases of high blood sugar during chemotherapy,19.05%.For those with a BMI greater than 23,there were 100(70.42%),and those who had higher blood sugar levels in the chemotherapy were 29,with a ratio of 29.00%.The difference between the glycemic group and the normal group was statistically significant(p < 0.05).(5)There were 43 cases of unmenopausal patients and 30.28 percent.During the period of chemotherapy, there were 8 cases of high blood sugar,18.60 percent. There were 96 cases of postmenopausal patients,67.61%.There were 29 cases of high blood sugar in chemotherapy and 29.29 percent. The statistical results show that the difference has significant significance.(6)in 142 cases of ovarian cancer,an average of 32.5 months(16 months ~ 50 months)were followed by a total of 45 patients with recurrent tumor recurrence, accounting for 31.69 percent.Increased blood sugar had 27 cases,60% of abnormal blood glucose group, normal blood glucose group of 18 cases of recurrence, accounting for 40% of the total cases of recurrence, statistical results show that increased blood sugar postoperative recurrence rate significantly higher than normal blood sugar. Conclusion: age, high blood pressure, high BMI,postmenopausal patients with ovarian cancer after chemotherapy prone to fasting glucose abnormalities, and in the fourth period after chemotherapy, control blood sugar can improve clinical outcomes.
