The Correlation Relationship Between The Serum Level Of VitD And The Congestive Heart Failure

Objective: To study the correlation between the serum level of brain natriuretic peptide(BNP)and 25-(OH)VitD3 in patients with congestive heart failure(CHF).Methods: Determind the levels of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF),25-(OH)D3 and BNP in 126 patients with CHF.Compare the difference of patients with LVEF,25-(OH)D3 and BNP which have different NYHA classification On the basis of NYHA classification,to analyse the relevance of serum 25-(OH)D3 with BNP and LVEF.Another 30 healthy subjects undergoing physical examinations in our hospital during the same period were enrolled as healthy control group.To compared the baseline and the serum levels of 25-(OH)D3 ? BNP and LVEF were measured.The patients were followed up for 6months,compared the heart failure case hospitalization with the different level of 25-(OH)D3.Results: In the baseline,to compared the heart failure group and the control group with sex ratio ?age? TG?TC?HDL-C and LDL-C was no obvious different.Compared with healthy control group,there was significant reduction in serum 25-(OH)D3 and LVEF,and significant rise in serum levels of BNP(P<0.05).The level of the BNP was increased by increasing the number of NYHA,and the correlation was positive,and the comparison showed that the comparison between different groups was statistically significant(q=8.12~41.61,P<0.05).With the improvement of heart function of patients with chronic heart failure classification,serum 25(OH)D3 level gradually reduce trends,comparing two shows a comparison between different grading all had statistical significance(q=3.37~14.07,P<0.05)The level of 25-(OH)D3 and LVEF are decreased with the increaseof NYHA classification in 126 CHF patients(P<0.01);BNP was positively correlate to NYHA classification(r=-0.585,P<0.01).The patients were followed up for 6months,compared with no cardiac event group,there was significant reduction in 25-(OH)D3 level(P<0.01).Conclusion: The severity of heart failure is associated with serum levels of vitamin D,Serum level of 25-(OH)D3 can be used as the observation indexes.
