Beating Heart Surgery In Vavle Replacement On Patients With Nyha Class â…£

Purpose:Study surgical methods to fine better way for the valve replacement in patients with NYHA classâ…£.Method:Retrospective study all cases(total 546)of NYHA classâ…£heart function disease underwent valve replacement from June 1993 to June 2007,using heart arrested and beating heart surgery method.Pick 151 cases by random to analyze, put them in two group according to heart arrested method or not,including 97 rheumatic heart disease,47 infective endocarditis,and 7 cases of heart interventional therapy incident.Result:The mortality rate of 151 patients was 6.62%.Heart beating technique group had lower postoperative heart complications than heart arrested group,which included severe ventricular arrhythmia and early mortality rate ratio. Early mortality rate of beating heart technique group was 4.09%(5/122),none of both groups appeared circulatory air embolus.The early mortality rate in heart arrest technique group was 17.24%(5/29).Conclusion:Beating heart surgical method shows better result than that of heart arrested surgical method.The beating heart method can avoid both lower temperature and ischemia damage to the heart,offers a better prognosis to postoperative heart functions recovery,and is especially suitable to be applied on preoperative decreased function of a diseased valve for a valve replacement operation.
