Professor Liuyujie's Experience In The Treatment Of Combined With Mild To Moderate Depression After Treatment Of PCI

Objectives Based on “Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System V2.5”,the present research was to analyze Professor Liu Yujie's prescriptions for mild to moderate depression following percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)and summarize her medication experience and clinical experience in the treatment of mild to moderate depression following PCI.Methods The Professor Liu Yujie's prescriptions in the medical records of patients with mild to moderate depression following PCI were collected and recorded in Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System V2.5.Based on the statistical statement system and data analysis system,frequency analysis,association rules analysis,complex system entropy cluster analysis and other data mining were employed respectively so as to analyze the frequency of drug use,nature and flavor and channel tropism frequency,and symptom frequency,to demonstrate the law of drug-syndrome-symptom and obtain Professor Liu Yujie's medication experience in the treatment of mild to moderate depression following PCI.Results 1 The analysis of the statistical statement system was as follows: The top ten drugs in terms of drug frequency were salvia miltiorrhiza,albizia flower,pinellia ternata,radix curcumae,fructus amomi,rhodiola rosea,ilex pubescens,dried orange peel,poria and corydalis tuber.Four natures of drugs were primarily cold,warm and neutral;five flavors were mainly bitter,pungent and sweet;channel tropism was mostly seen in the liver,spleen,stomach and heart channels.20 core combinations of mild to moderate depression following PCI were listed by using complex system entropy clustering system method.10 new prescription combinations were obtained through unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering.2 The analysis of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support System was as follows: The common symptoms were depressed mood,interest drop,heart and chest pain,choking sensation in chest,short of breath,poor sleep,dry stool and palpitation.The law of symptoms was demonstrated.In the list of symptoms,the patients with phlegm-heat syndrome were the largest group,and the corresponding therapeutic principles and methods of eliminating phlegm by cooling,loosening the chest and resolving masses and relieving depression.The drug-syndrome-symptom network display chart shows that adjusted Xiaoxianxiong Decoction should be used for phlegmheat syndrome,adjusted Wendan Decoction for syndrome of blockade of phlegm-damp,Danshen Decoction plus inula decoction for qi stagnation and blood stasis,adjusted Chaihu-Longgu Muli Decoction for stagnant pathogen of Shaoyang and obstruction of cardinalate,and adjusted heat qi tonifying decoction made by professor Liu for syndrome of heat-spleen deficiency.Conclusions 1 The analysis of professor Liu Yujie's clinical prescriptions reveals most of drugs are cold,warm and neutral in nature,bitter,pungent and sweet in taste,belong to liver channel,spleen channel and stomach channel and have the functions of reducing phlegm and eliminating dampness and invigorating blood circulation and eliminating stasis(such as pinellia ternata,dried orange peel,salvia miltiorrhiza,ilex pubescens,rhodiola rosea,etc.)when professor Liu chooses the treatment of mild to moderate depression following PCI.And ten new first-line prescription combinations are obtained.2 Professor Liu Yujie's clinical experience in treating chest pain and chest distress is as follows: make full use of paired drugs.For example,ilex pubescens and rhodiola rosea may be used to treat chest pain and chest distress;radix curcumae and albizia flower may be used to treat depressed mood;parasitic loranthus and tortoise plastron may be used to treat palpitation as well as timidity and skittishness.Simultaneous treatment of root cause and symptoms focuses on reducing phlegm and dispelling dampness as well as relieving chest stuffiness and removing stagnation(Xiaoxianxiong decoction or Wendan Decoction is commonly used),focuses on promoting blood circulation and removing stasis and promoting qi circulation and removing obstruction in the collateral(Danshen Decoction or inula flower Decoction),focuses on regulating mental activities and calming the nerves,and advocates psychological counselling.Professor Liu points out that dose should be based on individual physique and medication time should be one and a half hour after meal.The three recipe cases reflect the characteristics of professor Liu in treating mild to moderate depression following PCI.
