ObjectiveTo establish the content and evaluate the effects of safety nursing pathway in peri anesthesia period for thoracoscopic surgery-undergoing lung cancer patients.MethodsThis study was performed in two consecutive phases.(1)By referring to the routine nursing care of anesthesia and a large number of references and consulting clinical experts and clinical medical staff, the safety nursing route table and clinical implementation process of perioperative anesthesia for lung cancer patients undergoing thoracoscopic surgery were designed and prepared.(2)A total of 120 thoracoscopic surgery-undergoing patients were selected and randomly divided into control group and intervention group, with 60 cases in each group. There was no significant difference between the two groups in age, sex,ASAclassification, clinical stage and operation time(P>0.05).The control group was subjected to routine care and the intervention group was assigned to safety nursing pathway. Then the anxiety level, dysphoria incidence, visual analog score,PCQ(perianesthesia comfort questionnaire)level, operating time and hospital stays of the two groups were compared.Results1.The text and implementation procedures of safety nursing pathway in peri anesthesia period for thoracoscopic surgery-undergoing patients were establishment. The text consisted of 2 parts, the basic information of the patients and the safety nursing pathway of anesthesia period. The safety nursing pathway included the first day of anesthesia, the anesthesia day and 24-48 hours after anesthesia.2.After intervention, there were significant differences in the anxiety level, dysphoria incidence, the analgesic grade,PCQ level, manipulation time and lengths of hospital stays between thetwo groups(P<0.05 for all). The anxiety level of the intervention group thirty minutes before operation was much lower than that of the control group(t=12.312,P<0.001).Dysphoria incidence of the intervention group was much lower than that of the control group(c2=6.508,P <0.01).The analgesic grade of the intervention group was much lower than that of the control group(t =2.638,P=0.009).The PCQ level of the intervention group was much higher than that of the control group(t=-5.524,P<0.001).The manipulation time of the intervention group was much shorter than that of the control group(t=5.582,P<0.001).Lengths of hospital stays of the intervention group was much shorter than that of the control group(t=8.850,P<0.001).ConclusionThe establishment of safety nursing pathway in perianesthesia can provide a standard method for safe nursing for thoracoscopic surgery-undergoing patients. The application of this safety nursing pathway can improve comfort level, decrease the anxiety level and dysphoria incidence and the analgesic grade, and at the same time shorten both the manipulation time and lengths of hospital stays of the thoracoscopic surgery-undergoing patients.
