| Objective: To observe and investigate the effect of treating Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy(DPN)in patients of Yang Deficiency diabetes with needle warming moxibustion and danggui sini decoction.To give an objective comment on acupuncture medicament and the safety and effectivenessits of its application in treating DPN.Methods: 60 cases of DPN belonging to Yang Deficiency diabetes were randomly divided into two groups,the treatment group and the control group.Both groups were given the basic treatment,including the control of diet,moderate exercise,taking hypoglycemic drugs or insulin therapy.On this basis,the treatment group were given needle warming moxibustion and danggui sini decoction.Two months were a course of treatment.We mainly observed the changes of patients' syndrome scores,FBG?PBG ?HbA1c? electromyography and nerve conductive velocity.Results:After observation,the treatment group was 86.67% and the control group was50.00% in terms of Chinese Medicine general effectiveness.The treatment group was significantly better than the control group(p<0.05).The Treatment group was significantly better than the control group(p<0.05).In terms of neurology electromyography,comparing the post-treatment movement nerve conductive velocity and terminal latency with pre-treatment level,the treatment group was significant;y better than the control group.Conclusions: The treatment group was better than the control group in terms of Chinese Medicine general effectiveness.The patients didn't show untoward effects.Modern pathology confirms that needle warming moxibustion and danggui sini decoction can improve blood circulation,reduce the congestion of blood platelets,decrease blood viscosity,relieve pain and have the feature of antisepsis and anti-inflammation.But in terms of decreasing blood glucose,the treatment group didn't show obvious advantage.This method is safe and effective,which shows great merits of Chinese Medicine in treating DPN. |
