Objective:Usingthe Traditional Chinese medicinemethod ofzishuihanmu?pingganqianyang with conventional western medicine treatthe primary hypertension patients of ganyangshangkang type, observe its clinical anti-hypertension effect and the improvement of symptoms and signs of traditional Chinese medicine, and evaluate the safety of this treatment methodobjectively,to confirm the advantage of combined treatment oftraditional Chinese and western medicine. Methods:This clinical trial design abide the basic principle of contrast?random and repeatstrictly, and according to the actual situation in clinical and scientific research, adopt random single blind method, divided the subject into experimental group and control group. The patients in the experimental group was given both new tianma gouteng drink which was formed by method ofzishuihanmu?pingganqianyang and amlodipine tablets, while the control group takingonly amlodipine tablets.Record the change of the patients' blood pressure and the situation of TCM syndrome integral,in order to observe the clinical curative effect for four weeks.Record the change of blood lipids ? blood glucose ?homocysteineandobserve the safety indexes of bloodroutine?urineroutine?stoolroutine?liver function?renal function at the same time. The data were analysed by SPSS17.0.Results:1.Before the test, the blood pressure values?the TCM each and total syndrome integralof the experimental group and control grouphad no statistical difference.2.Studies have shown that thetotal effective rate of blood pressu re treatment of the experimental group was 96.87%,whilethe control g roup was 96.78%.The comparison of anti-hypertensive total effective r atesbetween two groups had no statistical difference(P>0.05).3.The effective rate of patients' TCM symptom improvementof the ex perimental groupwas 87.50%,whilethe control group was 64.52%.The comp arison ofsymptom improvement between two groups had significant diffe rences(P<0.05).4.The safety indexes of liver function?renal function?bloodroutine?urineroutine?stoolroutine of the experimental group and control grou p before and after the treatment had no significant change. Conclusion : Usingthe Traditional Chinese medicinemethod ofzishuihanmu?pingganqianyang uniting with western medicine compared with usingwestern medicine singly to treatthe primary hypertension patients had no statistical difference in the field of anti-hypertension effect, can control blood pressure both effectively.Traditional Chinese medicine uniting with western medicine can improve the clinical symptomssignificantly and raise the quality of the patients' daily life, had the obviousadvantages of high safety and no adverse reactioncompared with usingwestern medicine singly.
