Clinical Trial About Immediate Analgesia Effect Of Acupuncture For Primary Dysmenorrhea With Single Point

Objective: To elucidate different immediate analgesic effects under the intervention of penetrating single point,Sanyinjiao,Ciliao,Guanyuan and Shiqizhui respectively in primary dysmenorrheal patients so as to provide reference evidences of time-effect and point selecting strategy of relieving pain in those who suffer from primary dysmenorrheal.Methods:120 patients were randomly divided into Ciliao group,Guanyuan group,Shiqizhui group,Sanyinjiao group.Acupuncture is applied during the first day of most painful sensation occurs.We punched both sides of the points in patients' body except for Shiqizhui which located on the Dumai.Only one session of treatment is carried out and retaining 40 min per-treatment.Visual analogue scale(VAS)values were recorded in the immediate time before acupuncture,in 5 min,10 min,20 min,30 min,40 min after needle insertion,as well as in 30 min,60 min and 120 min after needle withdrawal separately.Results: After treatment,VAS scores of four groups were significantly lower than before(P <0.01),but there is no significant difference showed between any two of the four groups after treatment(P> 0.05).VAS score of Ciliao decreased 24.94 in the fitst 5min,which means great changes.VAS score of Guanyuan deminished 54.60.The analgesic effect increases as time goes by and it reach the peak at the time of 40 min.However,pain repetition occurred in all groups in the period of removing the needle to 120 min after removing the needle.Conclusion: 1.For primary dysmenorrheal patients,puncturing Sanyinjiao,Ciliao,Guanyuan and Shiqizhui do good to kill pain and it shows clinical effects.2.Ciliao indicates that it may play an important role in the treatment of analgesic effect in primary dysmenorrheal.3.Guanyuan has advantages in immediate analgesic effect.4.Practitioners should prolong the retaining time of treating PD.5.Pain repetition occurred in all groups at times.
