Study On Chronic Disease Health Education Present Situation And Countermeasure Of City Community Residents In Kaifeng

Background:With the increasing incidence of chronic diseases in recent years,it has become one of the main causes of death and disability in China.People begin to pay great attention to community health education of chronic diseases,and it is an important content of basic public health services now.Also,people gradually begin to recognize the importance of chronic disease prevention.In order to improve the ability of urban community residents chronic disease prevention and control,the research of urban community residents chronic health education is particularly important.Objective:Through the investigation of Kaifeng's chronic disease health education,to prob into its main problems,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.Hoping to reflect common situation of community residents chronic disease health education of the small and medium-sized cities in our country through the current situation of Kaifeng,to provide a reference for future chronic disease health education work.Methods:This study investigation tool is made up of five parts: general demographic information questionnaire,chronic disease prevention and cure knowledge questionnaire,chronic disease prevention and cure behavior questionnaire,the demand of chronic diseases health education questionnaire,problems and suggestions of chronic diseases health education work questionnaire;the method of multistage sampling was adopted by this research.According to the statement of inclusion and exclusion criteria,In this research 512 city communities' residents of Kaifeng was finally selected to fill the survey questionnaires;In this research SPSS20.0 statistical software was used for database establishment and analysis;the statistical methods used including: Statistical description,t-test,ANOVA,chi-square test,Pearson correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis;Combining with the results of the survey,literature review and expert interviews method to determine the effective coping strategies.Results:1.The score of chronic disease prevention and cure knowledge results: hypertension related knowledge scores are relatively high,the mean score of 3.73 points;Followed by diabetes,the mean score of 3.67 points;The stroke and coronary heart disease scoring average of 3.14 points and 3.30 points respectively,chronic diseases prevention and cure of behavior form of scoring: average just 5.87 points,low scores.2.Through correlation analysis,the score of chronic disease prevention and cure knowledge and the score of chronic disease prevention and cure behavior was divided into significant positive correlation(P < 0.01),the correlation coefficient r = 0.45.3.Through the single factor analysis of the residents score of chronic diseases prevention and cure knowledge and behavior,we can see that age,marital status,educational level,occupation,family income,chronic disease prevalence,area,these factors for chronic disease prevention and control knowledge and chronic disease prevention and control of behavior score had significant effect(P < 0.05).4.The results of many factors stepwise regression analysis of the score of prevention and control of chronic diseases knowledge and behavior,respectively: prevention and treatment knowledge score mainly by whether the medical profession(P = 0.046),chronic disease prevalence(P < 0.001),family income per capita(P < 0.001),degree of culture(P < 0.001);Prevention and control of behavior scoring mainly influenced by marital status(P < 0.001),age(P = 0.029),chronic disease prevalence(P = 0.021),cultural(P = 0.024).5.The demand situation of content and ways of chronic disease health education in residents: The sort of demand,daily health technical guidance(96.2%),diet instruction(94.7%),exercise guidance(93.5%),common risk factors for chronic diseases(90.6%),psychological guidance(84.4%).Demand situation of obtaining means,about daily health technical guidance,on a regular basis to carry out health education lectures(52.1%)the best effect;For common chronic disease risk factors to guide,results show that the publicity materials(51.1%)is the most easy way to be accepted by the residents;Guidance for diet and exercise guidance,outpatient consultation(39.2%,37.5%)is more important.6.The sort of major problem which residents put forward about chronic disease health education: the work of chronic disease health education lacks direction,accounting for 18.5%;Health education grants are not enough,accounting for 14.6%;Relevant organization lack in cooperation and coordination,accounted for 13.7%;the quality of health education practitioners need to be improved,accounting for 12.6%;The lack of effective policy and institutional guarantee,accounting for 11.9%.7.The sort of major suggest which residents put forward about chronic disease health education: broadening the financing channels to ensure that the sources of funds,accounting for 26.7%;Attaching great importance to the relevant departments,accounting for 21.2%;Using the form such as web or mobile phone app intensify propaganda,accounting for 16.2%;A related policy and system guarantee,accounting for 15.4%;Pay attention to the psychological aspects of health promotion,accounting for 11.6%;Introducing the chronic health education of primary and secondary schools,accounting for 8.9%.8.Expert discussion results:(1)the government and related departments should mainly be involved in the social mobilization,fund-raising,policy guarantee;(2)health education practitioners should mainly be involved in the improvement of their comprehensive ability,evaluation and control of health education work,and to explore a new method of health education;(3)the community residents,how to effectively meet the demand of residents about chronic diseases health education,and improve the health literacy is a focus for the future.Conclusion:1.Community residents' knowledge of chronic disease prevention and cure is not comprehensive,so chronic disease prevention and control of several behavior problems are very outstanding;Health education work lacks of perfect evaluation system,and needed to be strengthened urgently by the evaluation and control work of chronic diseases health education.2.The situation of knowledge awareness is significantly positively related to the situation of behavior formation about prevention and control of chronic diseases.the analysis of multiple factors pointed that both are affected significantly by chronic disease situation and degree of cultural,so to explore practical and effective new method for chronic health education is a fundamental way to improve residents health literacy.3.The government and related departments lacks strong attention to health education work of chronic disease.The government also should improve the policies and related system of chronic diseases' health education,broaden the financing channels to ensure the funding sources,promote social organizations to actively participate in and collaborate to booster chronic health education work.4.The community residents have a great demand for chronic health education,the professional quality of health education workers needed to be improved,pay attention to the development of comprehensive ability of chronic disease health education staff is the key to solve the problem.
