New Development Of Treatment For Rate Control In Atrial Fibrillation

Background:Atrial fibrillation(AF)is one of the most common clinical arrhythmia.It increases the risk of stroke,all-cause mortality,heart failure and reduces the quality of life seriously,adds the cost.Rate control is the background treatment of atrial fibrillation,while the options are not the same for different patients.Although rate control is the focus of the management and a top priority,many issues remain.Objective:To provide some references for the clinical treatment of rate control better in patients with atrial fibrillation by summarizing the current studies on the rate control in patients with atrial fibrillation.Method:According to“atrial fibrillation;rate control;rhythm control”and other keywords search to find out the related research of the rate control for patients with atrial fibrillation.Results and discussion:There are a large number of literatures related to the rate control of atrial fibrillation,integrated these studies show that rate control is the basic treatment for nearly all patients with atrial fibrillation,including pharmacological rate control treatment and non-pharmacological rate control treatment,the target for rate control is not clear and has not unified standards,the choices of treatment strategy need to be individualized and comprehensive consideration.
