Expression Of Epoxy Synthase 2 In Intestinal Tissue Of Schistosomiasis Patients With Colorectal Cancer And The Relationship Between The Expression And Prognosis

Objective: To study the relationship between the expression of Cyclooxygenase-2 and the prognosis of colorectal cancer in patients with schistosomiasis,so as to provide guidance for clinical diagnosis and prognosis of colorectal cancer.Methods: from Jun 2013 to Sep 2015,60 cases of pathologic specimen were collected and grouped to schistosomiasis group,no-schistosomiasis group and normal colon tissue group(A,B,C group respectively).The anti Streptomycin avidin peroxidase link(SP)and immunohistochemical methods was used to detect cyclooxygenase-2 of the tissues.And the expression lever of each group was compared.The schistosomiasis colorectal tumor tissues group was sup grouped to cyclooxygenase-2 positive group and negative group according to the results of examination.The gender,age,tumor size,degree of differentiation,dukes stages and lymph node metastasis were compared between the two groups.According to the outcome of 1 years follow-up,the group of colorectal cancer tumor tissue were divided into the improvement group and the deterioration group,and the expression of cyclooxygenase-2 in the two groups was compared.Result: The three groups were assessed in accordance with the results of the sample determination method and evaluation standard,and the positive rate was 76.6%,58.3% and 3.33% respectively,The cyclooxygenase-2 positive rate gradually reduced from A group to C group(P<0.05).Sex,age,tumor size and tumor location data had no significant difference(P>0.05)in the groups grouped according to the expression of cyclooxygenase-2;and the positive rate cyclooxygenase-2 in the group with the low differential,early dukes staging and lymph node metastasis was significantly higher than that of the contrary group(P<0.05).The 1 year recurrence rate in the rectal carcinoma patients with schistosoma is significantly higher than the rectal carcinoma patients without schistosoma(P<0.05).Conclusion:The clooxygenase-2 expression positive rate of intestinal tissue in the schistosomiasis patients with colorectal cancer was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissue and normal colon tissue,the prognosis significantly higher.Theclooxygenase-2 expression positive rate in the patients with low differential,late Dukes stage and lymph node metastasis was significantly higher.Therefore,cyclooxygenase-2 expression in colon cancer plays a significant role in schistosomiasis diagnosis,severity assessment and prognosis.
