Peripheral T cell lymphomas(PTCLs)are a group of heterologous diseases that originate from thymic T lymphocytes or mature NK cells.Clinical rare, its heterogeneity is strong, the treatment is inefficient, poor treatment outcome, most of the treatment within 2-3 years of recurrence.2016 WHO classification system will PTCLs divided into more than 20 subtypes, according to their biological characteristics of the major PTCLs subtypes have been able to make a more accurate diagnosis, but still some can not be classified or diagnostic errors. The recent research on molecular biology of PTCLs has made great progress and gradually elucidated the molecular pathology mechanism, which is important for the correct diagnosis and prognosis of PTCLs.Currently,CHOP(cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, prednisone)or CHOP-like chemotherapy regimens for B-cell lymphoma is still the preferred treatment for most PTCLs,but its efficacy is poor. The clinical trial in the NCCN guideline in 2017 is still an important treatment for initiating and recurrent refractory PTCLs.Due to the progress of molecular pathology of PTCLs,many new targeted drugs have been produced because of their effectiveness in clinical relapse or refractory cases. In this paper, the diagnosis of the major PTCLs subtypes and the progress of new targeted drugs are discussed.
