The Research Progress Of Plasma Cell Mastitis:Pathogeny,Diagnosis And Treatment

Background:Plasma cell mastitis(PCM) is general term that describes a number of mammary gland inflammatory lesions, which is more likely to occur in non-lactation young females with middle age. The incidence of PCM has been increasing in recent years.As PCM clinically has no obvious and characteristic feature,so sometimes it’s easy to be misdiagnosed and mistreated.Objective : This article reviews the progress of PCM,so as to accurately catch the key points of diagnosis and treatment of PCM. At the same time, raise the questions to be solved, find the next step of clinical research about PCM.Methods:Search a large number of comprehensive literature in combination with clinical practice and case discussion, to find out questions unsolved and explore the method to solve them.
