Study On The Relationship Among Self Efficacy,self-care Ability And Quality Of Life In Elderly Patients With Chronic Pain

ObjectiveBased on the investigation in Liaoning province Jinzhou city community elderly patients with chronic pain demographic characteristics,self efficacy,self-care ability and life quality level,analysis of the impact of the demographic characteristics of the elderly patients with chronic pain self-efficacy and self-care ability and quality of life,and the relationship between the elderly patients with chronic pain self-efficacy and self-care ability and quality of life and determine the impact of elderly patients with chronic pain self-efficacy and self-care ability of the quality of life in elderly patients with chronic pain in the path,in order to improve the quality of life of elderly patients with chronic pain and provide a theoretical basis for them.MethodsThis study is a cross-sectional study,from November 2015 to January2016,using convenience sampling method,a questionnaire survey was conducted to select Linghe District of Jinzhou City,and Guta District,Taihe District,Songshan District 640 cases of elderly patients with chronic pain.This study mainly through the literature,to determine the direction of the topic,the scale of the investigation of the pre-experiment,field survey,questionnaire recovery and input database and statistical analysis,the final paper and other steps to complete.In this study,we used the general informationquestionnaire,the self-care ability scale,the simple Mc Gill pain questionnaire,the self-efficacy scale and the quality of life questionnaire.All data using SPSS20.0 statistical software for statistical analysis,this study used statistical methods include descriptive statistical analysis,single factor variance analysis,Pearson correlation analysis and structural equation model analysis.Results1.In the community,the total self-efficacy scores of elderly patients with chronic pain are(39.09±8.64)points,the total self-care scores of the elderly patients with chronic pain are(85.78±11.34)points,the total scores of quality of life in elderly patients with chronic pain are(70.75 ±9.26)points.2.The results of single factor analysis show that there are statistical significance in the quality of life between elderly patients with different age and course of disease.The results of multiple regression analysis show that age,duration of disease,self-efficacy and self-care ability are closely related to the quality of life in elderly patients with chronic pain.3.The results of multiple stepwise regression analysis show that self efficacy levels play an intermediary role in self-care ability and quality of life in elderly patients with chronic pain.Conclusion1.Elderly patients with chronic pain self-efficacy and self-care ability level is acceptable.2.A nursing staff can improve their quality of life by improving the elderly self-care ability,also can improve the level of self-efficacy of elderly patients with chronic pain to improve the level of quality of life of elderly patients with chronic pain,and can strengthen the knowledge learning.3.Self efficacy of chronic pain can positively predict life quality,and self-care ability can predict the quality of life positively.Self efficacy can predict self-care ability positively,As the nursing staff should strengthen thepsychological nursing of patients with chronic pain symptoms in elderly patients with serious,at the same time to give regular physical examination for the elderly,the wrong cognition and correct the patient's bad habits,thereby inhibiting the emergence of new patients with complications.
