Design And Implementation Of Hospital Follow-up Management System

Follow-up work is an indispensable part of medical treatment and scientific research in hospital. The ways of carrying out follow-up work are varied, such as telephone, SMS, WeChat, letters, visits, hospital/clinic.It makes doctors fully understand the treatment and recovery of patients after discharge in order to achieve information and analyze the data under treatment and post-treatment. It provides the direction of diagnosis and treatment for medical treatment.According to this premise, the task of this thesis is definite: to design and implement a hospital follow-up management system with the main features of one-key statistics and advanced search. Based on the needs of the hospital follow-up personnels and the advantages and disadvantages of the follow-up system in the market, this paper completes the functional requirements and non functional requirements analysis. This paper gives the overall design and the module design and determines the overall structure of the client-interface layer-business layer-database, using B/S structure. The system is divided into follow-up patients management,follow-up work management, follow-up results management, follow-up statistical analysis, system management five modules. Then, this paper detailedly introduces the system development environment, the integration and configuration of the framework and the database tables.This system uses stored procedures to implement one key statistics to improve the query efficiency, uses multilevel nestification between classes to store the advanced search conditions and splices the SQL statements together to collect the query conditions. Finally, this paper gives the unit testing and integration testing of the five modules.Compared to other systems, the survival statistics is more professional,the retrieval of patients is more accurate and WeChat follow-up makes follow-up work more convenient.In this paper, the design and implementation of hospital follow-up management system significantly improves mainly in the following two aspects : one is that the system supports the five years survival rate in dimensions of diseases, departments and the first doctor and the accuracy of survival rate calculation is improved; another is that doctors who deep in clinical research can use advanced search to get patients’ medical records for scientific research and the efficiency of medical record retrieval is improved. The system designed and implemented in this paper has been used as a commercial product and gets good feedback from users.
