BackgroundWith the development of aging population, the disease associated with hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes retinopathy has gradually increased, the retinal vein occlusion is the second most common retinal vascular disease after diabetic retinopathy. It has been a difficult problem for ophthalmologists.A variety of methods for the treatment of retinal vein occlusion.Intravitreal injection of anti VEGF drugs is a hot spot in recent years, which has brought about changes in the treatment of ocular fundus diseases.Conbercept is an independent anti VEGF drug developed in China, but there are few reports on the clinical treatment of RVO secondary macular edema.ObjectiveTo evaluate the clinical efficacy of intravitreal injection of conbercept for macular edema secondary to retinal vein occlusion and analysis the related factors of it.MethodsProspective clinical controlled study. To select 36 patients(36 eyes)were diagnosed as macular edema(ME)secondary to retinal vein occlusion(RVO)in our hospital during November 2014 to July 2016,give them the therapy that intravitreal injection of conbercept, evaluate the clinical efficacy analyze the influencing factors of it.All patients were treated with regular eye examinations and optical coherence tomography(OCT),and evaluate the clinical efficacy through central macular thickness(CMT)and compare the best corrected visual acuity(BCVA)before and after treatment, and to analyze the age, course of disease and CMT before the treatment.Result1.Six months later the BCVA were improved in varying degrees,of which 16 cases of stable BCVA,visual acuity improved in 20 cases. Before treatment,BCVA(LogMAR)1.01 + 0.46,the BCVA(LogMAR)after the treatment is 0.66 + 0.45(t=7.689,P < 0.05),the difference between was statistically significant. The CMT of the patients have became thinner bervarying degrees, the CMT is 595.39 + 200.94 ?m before the treatment,it is 268.36 + 84.86 ?m(t=11.602,P < 0.05)after the treatment, the difference was statistically significant.2.Correlation analysis results showed that the treatment effect was negatively correlated with the onset time(r=-0.573,P < 0.05).The degree of the CMT reduce have related with the CMT before treatment(r=0.909,P < 0.05).3.Three were no drug-related side effects and systemic adverse reactions observed during the treatment, and there were no ocular complications associated with intravitreal injection, such as endophthalmitis, retinal tear, cataract and so on.Conclusion1.Intravitreal injection of Conbercept as the treatment of retinal vein obstruction with macular edema is safe and effective.2.The shorter the onset time, the greater the visual acuity; The more obvious macular edema is before treatment, the better the effect of promoting edema absorption, but the long-term therapeutic effect needs further observation.
