The Structural Equation Model Analysis On Influence Factors Of Physical And Mental Health Status In Medical Staff In Zhuhai City

BackgroundDue to the particularity working environment,the medical staff in the face of biological-physical-chemical factors of invasion,coupled with increasingly strained doctor-patient relationship,their physical and mental health have kind concerned,Some studies have revealed that it is the decisive factors in the recovery process,the medical staff's physical and mental health in the treatment of patients which has aroused the attention of the government and society.Many factors affects the health of mental and physical of the medical staff.Traditional statistical methods have many deficiency,and the structural equation model makes up for the shortcomings of traditional statistical methods.the physical and mental health status of medical staff in Zhuhai city was investigated based on various scales,and the structural equation model was used to examine the influencing factors.ObjectiveTo know the physical and mental health status of medical staff in Zhuhai and explore its influencing factors so as to provide a basis for making reasonable measures.MethodFirst,by using stratified cluster sampling method,2,350 medical staff in 54 medical institutions at various levels in Zhuhai were selected from March to April in 2015 to conduct questionnaire survey,and its results were collected.The survey is composed of two parts.1st,general survey:Including social demographic and health related factors;2nd,medical staff's physical and mental status survey:Fatigue Scale-14(FS-14)and Symptom Checklist-90(SCL-90).SPSS20.0 fitting multiple linear regression was used for the statistical analysis of data.The AMOS 6 factor analysis structural equation was applied to analyze the validity and effect of the scale.Result1.Physical and mental health of medical staff in Zhuhai2,111 patients(96.77%)had symptoms of fatigue.The overall mental health assessment of medical staff in Zhuhai city SCL-90 self-rating scale total score was significantly higher than the overall level of the national norm {(1.92 ± 0.64)VS(1.44 ± 0.43)points and in 9},{factor somatization psychological test(1.97 ± 0.68),obsessive-compulsive symptoms(2.16±0.73)points interpersonal sensitivity(1.93 ±0.69),depression(1.99±0.72),anxiety(1.83±0.67),(1.88±0.74)hostile,terror(1.69 ± 0.64),(1.81 ± 0.66)paranoid and psychotic(1.82±0.61)} scores were higher than the overall level of the national norm,and all the differences were of statistical significance(P<0.05).2.Influencing factors of physical and mental health of medical staff in ZhuhaiMultiple linear stepwise regression analysis showed that age,self-assessment of health status,the idea of leaving job job title&education,the dining situation and expenditure all related factors that impact medical personnel fatigue(FS-14)and the mental health of medical staff(SCL-90),and related factors were of statistical significance(P<0.05).And the medical personnel fatigue and mental health related FS-14 scores correlated with the score of SCL-90 coefficient was 0.557(P<0.05).Taking the physical and mental health of medical staff as the significant variables,the three factors of age effect,health status and social status were selected as latent variables,and the FS-14 structural equation model and SCL-90 structural equation model were established by using AMOS software.The social status of the title,education,income and expenditure of the four indexes,and the age and health status are relatively small,the age described by the age,health status,sleep,eating,health and exercise described four indicators.The age and health standards of social status,FS-14 structural equation model of the total effect values,which were respectively 0.219,-0.163,and-0.720,showed a positive status and social status of fatigue,and were negatively correlated with age and health status of fatigue;SCL-90 structural equation model in social status,age and health standard value,which wererespectively 0.100,-0.023,and-0.543,showed a positive status and social status of fatigue,and were negatively correlated with age and health status of fatigue,and were similar to that of thefatigue scale.Conclusion1.The physical and mental health status of medical staff in Zhuhai is not optimistic.2.Social status,age and health status are the important factors that affect the physical and mental health of medical staff,among which the health status plays the most important role,and the factors are related to each other.
