Objective:To study the effect on bonding strength of the adhesives and hybrid ceramic by different surface treatments.Methods:The Vita Enamic block was cut by CAD/CAM.The specimens were(78pieces,size:10×10×3mm)randomly divided into six groups(12pieces per group): A:control guoup;B:sandblasting group;C:etching group;D:silane group;E:etching+silane group;F:sandblasting+silane group.Each group was divided randomly two subgroups(6 pieces per subgroup)which one was for adhesive resin,another was for glass ionomer cement(GIC).The adhesive area was circle of radius2 mm,on the center of surface treated.The surface treated was covered the transparent adhesive tape with a hole of radius 2mm to control the adhesive area.The adhesive resin(Embrac TM,dual cure)and Fuji-?(glass inomer cement,GIC)were placed on the adhesive area,upto height 4mm.The bonding strength between the adhesives and the surfaces of hybrid ceramic of each group was detected by the universal material testing machine(Instron-2343,USA)after 24 h of adhesives cure.Results:The bonding strength(MPa)was as follows :At the subgroup of Embrace TM:A1 group: 6.2199±0.9662?B1 group: 8.3043±1.2074?C1 group: 7.2266±1.1112?D1 group: 15.0703±1.1033?E1 group: 9.6446±1.1725?F1 group: 13.1765±2.312;At the subgroup of Fuji-? :A2 group:2.45±0.30 ? B2 group:3.40±0.57 ? C2group:4.99±0.42?D2 group:2.19±0.31?E2 group:3.91±0.39?F2 group:2.52±0.98.Conclusions:The surface of hybride ceramic treated by sandblasting,etching and silane,aloneor combined,can improve the bonding strength of adhesive resin.The result of sandblasting group is better than etching group,the silane is the best among them for the bonding strength of bybride ceramic with adhering resin.The treatment of etching or sandblasting on hybrid ceramic can enhance the bonding strength of glass inomer cement.The result of etching group is better than sandblasting group,but the silane reduces the bonding strength between hybrid ceramic and glass inomer cement.
