BACKGROUND:Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is one of the most common chronic respiratory diseases that may accumulate each organ and system of the body.COPD seriously affected patient's life and health with long duration,a great deal of patients,high disability and mortality rate,caused huge economic and social burden to families and society.The risk factors of COPD are multitudinous and the pathogenesis are inconformity,so it's particularly important to comprehend the COPD epidemiology,identify all kinds of risk factors which can intervene for COPD prevention.Objective:Through reviewed the epidemiology of COPD and various risk factors which can intervene and unforeseeable,provides some references for the prevention and treatment of COPD.Methods:"COPD,epidemiology,risk factors" such as keywords to search,find out the epidemiology and all kinds of risk factors of COPD of the latest research.Conclusion:At present various regions around the world have a lot of the epidemiology and risk factors of COPD.Integrated these results show that the COPD prevalence trend to increased year by year,brought heavy economic burden to the society and family.COPD risk factor were numerous,currently smoking and family of serine protease inhibitors gene 1 was fully confirmed as COPD risk factors;It's need to further explore the relationship between COPD and risk factors like air pollution and occupational dust exposure,lung growth,body mass index,age and other gene.It's of great significance to raise people's awareness of COPD,intervene the interference factors as early as possible for the prevention and treatment of COPD.
