Objective: To analyze the clinical characteristics?pathologic characteristics of aged women's ovarian tumor, and the related onset factors of aged women's ovarian malignant tumor, to provide early prevention and treatment of malignant ovarian tumors.Methods: The clinical data and pathologic results were analysed retrospectively in 134 patients with ovarian tumor over 60 years old,which select from Binzhou Medical University Hospital in 2009 January to 2014 December. All cases were supported by postoperative pathologic. Ovarian neoplasms using the 2003 WHO classification standard for pathological classification. The final datas were performed by statistical software SPSS 19.0,counting matenal were analysed with Chi-square test,P<0.05 was considered statistically significant (With a=0.05 for inspection standards).Results1. The age characteristic in aged women with ovarian tumor: Among the 134 cases with ovarian tumor, the age distribution is between 60 and 85, average age is 66.72±6.2.2. The clinical charecteristics of aged women with ovarian tumor: The main symptoms were abdominal pain and postmenopausal vaginal bleeding. The other cases's main symptoms were abdominal distension, abdominal mass or finded by the physical examination , few patients can be behaved for the symptoms of urinary system, such as frequent urination?urine pain and urinary retention.3. The pathology of aged women with ovarian tumor and the age distribution:The incidence of serous cystadenoma is higher than others in patients who were benign ovarian tumors; The incidence of serous cystadenocarcinoma was higher than others in patients who were malignant ovarian tumors. When the age increased, there was a downward tendency in the incidence of ovarian malignant tumor, a upward tendency in the incidence of serous malignant tumors, the difference was statistically significant (P>0.05).4. The perioperative treatment: Operation is the main treatment of aged women with ovarian tumors, the 134 patients all accepted operation. The cardiovascular disease is the main complication. Other complications mainly included Diabetes Mellitus?Obesity?Anemia?Digestive system and Urinary system diseases.5. The related onset factors of ovarian malignant tumor: There had a positive correlation between the number of pregnancy?age of menarche and the incidence of ovarian malignant tumor in aged women (P<0.05). The age at menopause and BMI with the incidence of ovarian malignant tumor in aged women had a negative correlation (P<0.05). The history of abortion and age distribution had no association with the incidence of ovarian malignant tumor.Conclusions:1.Ovarian tumor among aged women were mainly benign tumors, the main symptoms were abdominal pain and postmenopausal vaginal bleeding. There was a downward tendency in the incidence of ovarian malignant tumors, a upward tendency in the incidence of serous malignant tumors with the increase of age.Operation is the main treatment of aged women with ovarian tumors. The perioperative treatment is very important.2.There had correlations in the number of pregnancy?age of menarche?age at menopause and BMI with the incidence of ovarian malignant tumor among aged women.Aged women' ovarian tumor has higher incidence of malignancy. These women should be givenimportant attention,and active measures should be taken to treat, the understanding of ovarian tumor patients should be strengthen, Once confirmed,early treatment are needed.
