Objective: To evaluate the distribution characteristics, prevalence of thyroid disease and related indicators in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus,to analyze the correlation in thyroid function so as to provide science basis. Methods: Retrospective review medical records of type 2 diabetic who attended the first affiliated hospital of guangxi medical university in 2015 to2016.According to the distribution of diseases were divided into type 2 diabetes mellitus normal group, hypothyroidism group, hyperthyroidism. The normal group of thyroid function were treated as control group,89 patients with thyroid function abnormal thyroid function were taken as case group, among them,218 cases of thyroid autoimmune antibody were detected.Collect the age, course of disease, blood lipids, glycosylated hemoglobin, thyroid autoantibodies and other indicators.Analysis the above index correlation with the condition of thyroid disease. Results:Among the 298 patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.89(29.9%)patients had thyriod dysfunction, including 42 / 298 patients(14.1 %),hypothyroidism 47 / 298(15.8 %),subclinical hypothyroidism, clinical hypothyroidism, subclinical hyperthyroidism and clinical hypothyroidism prevalence was 11.4 %,4.4 %,8.7 %,5.4 %,of which subclinical hypothyroidism was the largest proportion. In 298 patients of this study, according to thyroid functional state was divided into thyroid function normal group, hypothyroidism group, hyperthyroidism group.Comparison of hypothyroidism group and normal thyroid function group, hypothyroidism group age, total cholesterol and TSH were higher than normal thyroid function group.Hypothyroidism group HbA1 C,TT3,TT4,FT4 was lower than the normal group, the difference was statistically significant.Compared with normal thyroid function group, the total cholesterol and TSH in hyperthyroidism group was lower than that of normal thyroid function group, and TT3,TT4,FT3 and FT4 were higher than that of thyroid function group, the difference was statistically significant. The positive rate of TMAb,TGAb and TRAb in abnormal thyroid function were significantly different from those in thyroid function group, which were 0.000,0.000 and 0.007 respectively. Conclusion: 1,The prevalence of thyroid dysfunction in patients with type 2diabetes is 29.9 %,and the older the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, the increased prevalence of hypothyroidism, recommended type 2 diabetes patients with thyroid disease screening, the older people should pay attention to.2,In type 2 diabetes, the patient body is in different thyroid function state, the total cholesterol will change accordingly, should pay attention to monitor when using medicine.3,Type 2 diabetes with hypothyroidism is more than type 2 diabetic hypothyroidism patients with thyroid function normal patients with low HbA1 C,recommended type 2 diabetes with hypothyroidism patients should pay attention to monitor blood glucose.4,The probability of thyroid dysfunction in type 2 diabetes mellitus patients with abnormal thyroid autoantibodies is higher than that in normal group. It is suggested that thyroid function should be routinely detected in patients with type 2diabetes with normal thyroid function and regular follow-up.
