[Object] The relationship between serum thyroid function principal thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), free iodine Thyroid three original acid (FT3), serum free thyroxine (FT4) Of type 2 diabetes (Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus), and TCM Syndrome Differentiation; Different syndromes in patients with type 2 diabetes Investigation of thyroid function.[Methods] Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Department of Endocrinology, Third Affiliated Hospital of 2009 in June 2004 in March of patients choose to meet the requirements of 625 cases of type 2 diabetes, according to TCM syndrome differentiation criteria were divided into five groups (Yin Deficiency and Heat Unit, heat and spleen group, Qi and Yin deficiency group, yin and yang deficiency, blood stasis water stop, blood stasis and vein group), recording Thyroid Function TSH, FT3, FT4, its abnormal thyroid indices were compared with analysis and investigation of its incidence.[Results]â‘ with type 2 diabetes in the prevalence of hypothyroidism increases with age, duration of extension gradually increased (P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant, and the apparent prevalence of women than men.â‘¡According to Yin Deficiency and Heat, humidity and spleen, Qi-yin deficiency, yin and yang deficiency, blood stasis syndrome in this context the evolution of the order of the prevalence of hypothyroidism gradually increased (P <0.05); the prevalence of hyperthyroidism rate is gradually reduced (P<0.05), the difference was statistically significant.â‘¢TCM-based group of five overall comparison, FT3, FT4 statistically significant difference (P<0.05). With the type of Yin Deficiency and Heat from the heat Spleen, Qi and Yin deficiency, deficiency of both yin and yang of evolution, FT3, FT4 has decreased, while the development of the blood stasis syndrome when the context permits, FT3, FT4 no significant decrease. Between group and group of comparison FT3, FT4:Yin and Heat Syndrome and heat Spleen, Qi and Yin deficiency, Yin and Yang deficiency, blood stasis context permits were statistically significant (P<0.05); other the 22 compared FT3,,FT4 was no significant difference (P> 0.05).[Conclusions] In type 2 diabetes, with age, disease duration longer, the prevalence of hypothyroidism increased, and more common to women;Type 2 diabetes TCM Yin and Heat Syndrome, Qi and Yin deficiency, Yin and Yang deficiency, blood stasis in the context permits, the prevalence of abnormal thyroid function of women was higher than men, Except the heat and Spleen; With type 2 diabetes TCM Yin Deficiency and Heat from the heat and spleen, both Qi, yin and yang deficiency, blood stasis context of progressive development, the prevalence of hypothyroidism has increased gradually, the prevalence of hyperthyroidism has gradually decreased; With type 2 diabetes TCM evidence to Yin Deficiency and Heat from the heat and Spleen, Qi and Yin deficiency, deficiency of both yin and yang of evolution, FT3, FT4 has decreased, while the development of the blood stasis syndrome when the context permits, FT3,FT4 no significant decrease.
