Objective:To evaluate the relationship between preoperative blood lipid levels and the pathological staging and prognosis of colorectal cancer. Methods:The clinical data of 460 patients with pathological diagnosis of colorectal cancer who received surgery treatment in Guangxi Medical University First Affiliated Hospital from Sep 2012 to Sep 2014 were analyzed retrospectively. To compare the difference of preoperative blood lipid levels in different T stagings,N stagings,M stagings,TNM stagings, parts, nerve invasion, perineural infiltration, and the relationship with prognosis. The obtained data by SPSS17.0 software of data for statistical analysis.Results:1.Comparison between different T stagings in patients with colorectal cancer, preoperative TC,HDL-C,apo A?,apo B levels difference were statistically significant(P<0.05);logistic regression analysis showed that the TC(OR= 0.775,95%CI: 0.635~0.945),HDL-C(OR=0.470,95%CI: 0.306~0.723),apo A?(OR=0.384,95%CI: 0.162~0.910),apo B(OR=0.310,95%CI: 0.113~0.854)and negatively correlated with T staging.2.Comparison between different N stagings in patients with colorectal cancer, preoperative blood lipid levels had no significant difference(P>0.05);logistic regression analysis showed that LP(a)(OR=0.606,95%CI: 0.386~ 0.950)and negatively correlated with N staging.3.Comparison between different M stagings,TNM stagings in patients with colorectal cancer, preoperative HDL-C,apo A ?,LP(a)levels difference were statisically significant(P<0.05);logistic regression analysis showed that HDL-C(OR=0.228,95% CI: 0.121~0.684),apo A?(OR=0.037,95% CI: 0.008~0.180)and negatively correlated with M staging,HDL-C(OR=0.228,95%CI:0.087~0.624),apo A?(OR=0.036,95%CI: 0.006~0.225)and negatively correlated with TNM staging.4.Comparison between Colorectal cancer patients with and without perineural infiltration or vascular invasion,no statistically significant difference were observed in the preoperative blood lipid levels(P >0.05).5.Rectal cancer patients with preoperative TC,LDL-C,HDL-C,apo A ?levels were obviously higher than that of colon cancer patients(P<0.05),left half colon cancer patients with preoperative TC,TG,apo B levels were significantly higher than the right colon cancer patients(P<0.05).6.Single factor analysis showed that T staging(c 2=8.219,P=0.042),N staging(c 2=29.038,P=0.000),M staging(c 2=100.738,P=0.000),vascular invasion(c2=4.717,P=0.030),preoperative TG levels(c2=5.106,P=0.024)were related to the prognosis of colorectal patients(P<0.05),Cox proportional hazards model analysis showed that N staging,M staging were independent risk factors of colorectal cancer patients survival(P<0.05),and preoperative TG level was not independent influence factor of colorectal cancer patients survival(P>0.05).Conclusions:Preoperative HDL-C,apo A?levels and T staging,M staging,TNM staging in patients with colorectal cancer have certain relevance, but no correlation with the prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer.
