BackgroundAt present, the treatment of colorectal cancer has entered the era of multidisciplinary treatment based on surgical treatment. It is particularly important to analyze the prognostic factors of colorectal cancer in order to better achieve individualized treatment.Perineural invasion is an important factor in the recurrence and metastasis of malignant tumors, and has a certain impact on the prognosis of patients with colorectal cancer, but no consensus has been reached. The incidence of mucinous adenocarcinoma in colorectal cancer is 9.6% to 25.4% in the Western population and 3.9% to 11.7% in the Asian population. For the case of mucinous adenocarcinoma with high malignancy and poor prognosis, the risk factors affecting the prognosis are rarely reported. Therefore, this study retrospectively analyzed the clinical and pathological data of 170 patients with colorectal mucinous adenocarcinoma in our hospital, using statistical analysis to explore the correlation between Perineural invasion and other clinicopathological factors in colorectal mucinous adenocarcinoma, and Its effect on the prognosis of patients with colorectal mucinous adenocarcinoma.ObjectiveThis article explores the correlation between perineural invasion and clinicopathological features of colorectal mucinous adenocarcinoma, and its impact on patient prognosis.MethodsIn 10132 cases of colorectal cancer treated with surgery in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from January 2004 to June 2016,170 cases of colorectal mucinous adenocarcinoma were screened(17 cases of perineural invasion positive group, negative perineural invasion group 153).Example)Statistical analysis was performed to compare the clinicopathological features of the two groups of patients and their impact on prognosis.Results1.Univariate analysis showed that vascular invasion,TNM staging, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis, preoperative D-dimer and colorectal mucinous adenocarcinoma were associated with perineural invasion(all P < 0.05).2.Multivariate analysis showed that vascular invasion,TNM stage, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis were closely related to perineural invasion of colorectal mucinous adenocarcinoma(all P <0.05).3.Survival analysis showed that perineural invasion, vascular invasion,TNM staging, lymph node metastasis, distant metastasis were associated with 3-year survival rate(all p<0.05).ConciusionVascular invasion,TNM staging, lymph node metastasis, and distant metastasis are independent risk factors for perineural invasion of colorectal mucinous adenocarcinoma;in colorectal mucinous adenocarcinoma, perineural invasion is an important factor affecting prognosis, and is a prognostic risk factor. The assessment provides the basis.
