A Study On The Influence Of Medical Insurance On Medical Service And Health Of Aged People

At present,all countries are facing the problem of aging,the aging of our country also presents an irreversible trend,the aging problem has become the focus of our society.The problem of aging mainly refers to 65 years of age and older life health and daily medical problems.With the increasing proportion of aging population and its unique disease pattern,the demand for health servicesis increasing.Therefore,this paper studies the impact of medical insurance on the health services and health of the elderly,which is of great scientific value and practical significance for the improvement of the health level of the elderly and the development of a harmonious society.According to the object of enjoyment,the basic medical security system of our country can be divided into urban medical security and rural cooperative medical security.In recent years,with the support of the government,the reform of the basic medical security system in our country has made great achievements.China’s medical insurance system to improve the utilization of medical services,medical support system is an important support.For the elderly with unique physical characteristics,the further improvement of medical insurance has increased the possibility of access to medical and health services.However,the decrease of marginal cost of medical service has raised the moral hazard,which is not conducive to the effective utilization of health resources in our country.However,there is no consistent research on the promotion of health care for the elderly and the reduction of family medical expenses.In addition,the proportion of the elderly medical expenditure in China’s GDP is increasing year by year,which is not conducive to the economic growth of China’s "new normal",and the social security function of our country has not yet been developed.Therefore,an important criterion to measure the goal of medical insurance service is the health level of the elderly.The effect of Chinese elderly health factors in the reference and tracking survey(CLHLS)panel data,through the establishment of Heckman model and two model,the main factors that affect China’s elderly health service utilization and health status are analyzed,and an empirical test of medical insurance for elderly medical services and health effects.Empirical results show that:(1)medical insurance significantly increases the cost of health care for the elderly,and the proportion of medical expenses for the elderly has increased by an increase of $41.5% under the promotion of medical insurance,an increase of$1227.(2)medical insurance significantly reduces the burden of medical care for the elderly,reducing the cost of home care by about $122($7.67%).(3)although the medical insurance significantly improves the health service utilization and health status of the elderly,there are obvious differences between urban and rural areas.(4)China’s basic medical insurance significantly improves the health level of the elderly.
