Observation Of The Effect Of Shuanghuanglian Injection (Lyophilized Powder) Nasal Douche On Allergic Rhinitis And Its Effect On IL-33mRNA In Nasal Mucosa

1.Objective(1)To observe the clinical effects of Shuanghuanglian injection(lyophilized powder)nasal douche in patients with allergic rhinitis.(2)Changes of IL-33 mRNA relative expression in nasal mucosa of patients with allergic rhinitis before and after treatment were detected to further explore the possible mechanism of Shuanghuanglian injection(lyophilized powder)nasal douche on allergic rhinitis.2.Method100 cases of patients with allergic rhinitis were selected from the E.N.T.Department of First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui University of traditional Chinese medicine from November 2015 to August 2016.They were randomly divided into Shuanghuanglian group and budesonide group,50 cases in each group.The Shuanghuanglian group was treated with Shuanghuanglian injection(lyophilized powder)for nasal douche,once a day,wash the bilateral nasal cavity alternately.The budesonide group was treated with budesonide sprays for nasal spray,and each side of the nasal cavity was sprayed once,once a day.Other anti-allergic drugs were discontinued during the treatment.Statistical experimental data were concluded,and the symptoms and signs score of patients in two groups and the relative expression of IL-33 mRNA in nasal mucosa were compared.3.ResultsShuanghuanglian injection(lyophilized powder)for nasal douche and budesonide sprays for nasal spray can effectively improve the nasal symptoms in patients with allergic rhinitis,and there was no significant difference between the two groups.As for the effective rate,the effective rate of Shuanghuanglian group was14.0%,the total effective rate was 96.0%,and the ineffective rate was only 4.0%;the effective rate of budesonide group was 18.0%,the total effective rate was 98.0%,and the ineffective rate was 2.0%.The curative effects of two groups were compared,P<0.05,and the difference was not statistically significant.The curative effect of Shuanghuanglian injection(lyophilized powder)in the treatment of allergic rhinitis was equivalent to that of budesonide sprays.The relative expression of IL-33 mRNA in nasal mucosa of patients with allergic rhinitis in Shuanghuanglian group and budesonide group was(0.48±0.25)and(0.49±0.21)respectively.4.ConclusionShuanghuanglian injection(lyophilized powder)for nasal douche significantly reduced the relative expression of IL-33 mRNA in nasal mucosa of patients with allergic rhinitis,and there was no significant difference after compared with nasal corticosteroids.The clinical symptoms and signs of patients with allergic rhinitis can be improved by Shuanghuanglian injection(lyophilized powder)for nasal douche.The clinical curative effect was equivalent to that of nasal corticosteroids and no obvious adverse reactions were found,which is worthy of popularization and application in clinic.
