Objective:To research the curative effect of cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture for the treatment of Peripheral facial paralysis after 2 weeks and 2 months. To compare the curative effect of cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture and routine acupuncture, and provide a new idea for the acupuncture treatment of peripheral facial paralysis.Method:According to<Neurology>,<Peripheral facial paralysis of integrated assessment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and efficacy standards>to determine the diagnostic criteria for peripheral facial paralysis, and in accordance with the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria included peripheral facial paralysis cases,a total of 120 cases.Cases were derived from the acupuncture clinic peripheral facial paralysis patients in Changzhou hospital of traditional Chinese medicine during March 2016 to December 2016.120 cases were randomly divided into two groups:60 cases using cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture therapy, which selects different points, adjusts the order and imposes certain acupuncture reinforcing and reducing treatment techniques;while the other 60 cases using routine acupuncture method.Baseline treatment in both groups was treated with the same hormone and B vitamins. Two groups of cases were scored and recorded according to "House-Brackmann facial nerve function rating scale" and "facial nerve palsy grading scale" before treatment,2 weeks after treatment and 2 months after treatment.Curative effect of standard refers to<Peripheral facial paralysis of integrated assessment of traditional Chinese and Western medicine and efficacy standards>.The data were analyzed by SPSS 19.0 software, and the safety of the two methods was observed.Results:1.We couldn't find any differences which is significant between the two groups in gender, age, side of disease, facial nerve functional classification and H-B score(P>0.05).Therefore,the two groups were comparable.2.The average score of the H-B scale of cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture group after 2 weeks of treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),so did routine acupuncture group. The two groups were statistically different before treatment and after 2 weeks of treatment. The average score of the two groups after 2 weeks of treatment were compared between groups,a conclusion was drawn that P<0.05,so that the two groups were statistically different after 2 weeks of treatment.3.The average score of the H-B scale of cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture group after 2 months of treatment was significantly lower than that before treatment(P<0.05),so did routine acupuncture group. The two groups were statistically different before treatment and after 2 months of treatment. The average score of the H-B scale in cheng's "Tong Tuo method"acupuncture group and routine acupuncture group after 2 months of treatment were compared between groups,so a conclusion was drawn that after 2 months of treatment, the two groups were statistically different(P<0.01).4.We compared the total effective rate of cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture group and routine acupuncture group after 2 weeks of treatment. It was statistically significant(P<0.05)between the two groups. The total effective rate was compared between cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture group and routine acupuncture group after 2 months of treatment. It was statistically significant(P<0.01)between the two groups after the treatment of 2 months.5.The total number of times of treatment of peripheral facial paralysis treated by cheng's"Tong Tuo method" acupuncture was less than that of routine acupuncture. The average number of treatment was compared between the two groups in patients healed in 2 months that P<0.01.The two groups in the average number of treatment had significant statistical differences.6.No insecurity was found in the two groups during the research.Conclusion:1.Cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture and routine acupuncture for the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis are effective.Cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture in the treatment of the total effective rate after 2 months was 100.00%,while the routine acupuncture was 91.67%.The effect of cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture is more significant, and is better than routine acupuncture in short time(2 weeks)and long time(2 months). The cure rate after 2 months of treatment is higher than that of routine acupuncture.2.Cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture treatment of peripheral facial paralysis can effectively shorten the course of treatment.3.Cheng's "Tong Tuo method" acupuncture in the treatment of peripheral facial paralysis achieves a more satisfactory effect in this research, and it is safe and convenient. It develops a new idea of treatment of peripheral facial paralysis, and it's worth learning and promoting.
