Objective:This research aimed at investigating the possible mechanism of grain-sized moxibustion with chemotherapy in cancer, observed the metastasis and recurrence rate, together with the changes of IL-17 and VEGF,proved that grain-sized moxibustion can reduce the levels of IL-17 and VEGF,then inhibiting the activation of IL-17/VEGF signaling pathway to regulate the migrational micro-environment of the tumor, further inhibiting angiogenesis which can positively adjust micro-environment and reduce metastasis and recurrence rate. Thus provide the experimental research credible evidence for the cancer therapy strategies.Method:43 cancer patients were randomly divided into treatment and control group.According to the condition, patients of two groups respectively received corresponding chemotherapy. The treatment group 's 21 patients adopted 6-month grain-sized moxibustion therapy on the basis of conventional treatment, one time a week.Control group only received chemotherapy and basis support treatment. The RECIST(Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors),routine blood, liver and kidney function, metastasis and recurrence rate and QLQ-C30 rating scale were observed.Expression levels of IL-17 and VEGF was detected by ELISA.Results:In RECIST,the total effectiveness of treatment group is better than control group. In laboratory index change,WBC count-down-degree of treatment group was lower than the control group,as well as y-GT elevated degree. In metastasis and recurrence rate, treatment group was remarkably lower than that in control group both during therapy and follow-up.The rising expression levels of IL-17,VEGF were more significant than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Grain-sized moxibustion had remarkable effect on cancer progress,it can restrain the growth of the cancer tumors, relieve the adverse reaction caused by chemotherapy, inhibit metastasis and recurrence rate, which might be associated with regulating the migrational micro-environment of the tumor by inhibiting the activation of IL-17/VEGF signaling pathway.
