Given the fact that the complexity of medical science and the limited rationality of patient cognition, there is a certain risk in clinical decision making in hypertensive patients. The subjective risk perception that patients with hypertension are taken will have little impact on the scientificity and rationality of clinical decision-making.Hence,it is of great significance to study the clinical decision-making of patients from the perspective of medical risk perception, guiding the rational decision-making of hypertensive patients, promoting the construction of harmonious doctor-patient relationship. In this study, patients with essential hypertension are considered as the object of study.Through the review of the existing literature, carding, the clinical decision-making impact of the theoretical framework is built based on medical risk perception of hypertensive patients as well as the formation of relevant measurement questionnaire. The formal questionnaire was conducted in Suzhou area, and 388 valid samples were collected.Data were analyzed by SPSS 19.0,and the hypothesis was tested according to the analysis results.1.Medical risk perception in hypertensive patients has multidimensional structures, including physical risk, economic risk, functional risk, time risk, psychosocial risk, and risk of treatment;2.There were significant differences in the level of income, education and age among the risk perception, and there was no significant difference in gender, the severity of hypertension and the way of medical insurance;3.Hypertensive patients have a low degree of understanding of hypertension, and their degree of understanding is significantly negatively correlated with medical risk perception and six dimensions, that is,the higher the level of hypertension in hypertensive patients, the lower the level of medical risk perception;4.Hypertensive patients tend to work with physicians to make clinical decisions. The six dimensions of medical risk, other than risk of treatment, the remaining five dimensions of clinical decision-making in patients with a significant negative impact, that is,the higher the level of medical risk perception, the more likely patient will make the doctor more involved in clinical decision-making.There is a significant positive correlation in the medical risk perception and the choice of patients with tertiary hospital,as well as the chief physician treatment of hypertension have, that is,the higher the level of medical risk perception, the more likely to choose the tertiary hospitals and the chief doctor for treatment.
