Analysis Of Clinicopathologic Features And Survival Of Encapsulated Papillary Carcinoma Of The Breast

Objective: To investigate the clinicopathologic features and survival of encapsulated papillary carcinoma.Methods: A retrospective analysis of 63 cases of Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University in 2010 January to 2016 December was pathologically diagnosed as clinical data of EPC.With the literature,analysis and discussion of patients in general,clinical manifestations,pathology features,imaging examine,treatment and prognosis.Comparative analysis of characteristics of pure EPC and EPC with other types of cancer patients in clinical and pathological aspects.Results:63 cases of EPC patients aged 29-84 years old,average age was 60.3 years old and all patients were women.Imaging examination have no characteristic features.The positive rate of immunohistochemical ER and PR were 90.5% and 85.7%,HER-2 positive rates were 4.8%.There was significant difference between physical characteristics of pure EPC and EPC with other types cancer,there was statistically significant difference in the menopausal status,ER,PR,Ki-67 expression,axillary lymph node and molecular subtyping(P?0.05).There was no statistical diffrerence in nation,age,tumor size,HER-2expression and TNM stage(P>0.05).The 1 year,2 year,5 year disease-free survival rate was 98.1%,95.7% and 80.9%.The survival rate of pure EPC and EPC with other types cancer was 87.5% and 71.5%.And there has shown a significant difference in two groups(?2=4.081,P<0.05).Conclusion: The EPC appear mostly in elder women and has a good prognosis.The 5 year disease-free survival rate was 80.9%.Pure EPC has a better prognosis than EPC with other type cancer patients.There was significant difference in the menopausal status,ER,PR,Ki-67 expression,axillary lymph node and molecular subtyping between pure EPC and EPC with other types cancer.Observation of treatment and prognosis of EPC still needs long time large sample follow-up.
