Objective: As a common disease in children,Pediatric adenoid hypertrophy's impact on the growth and development of children has been generally concerned.Professor GuoZaogang is a famous Chinese medicine practitioner in Yunnan Province,specializing in the treatment of various diseases of ENT.This paper aims to systematically summarize Professor Guo's clinical thinking and academic experience of adolescent adenoid hypertrophy based on his concept of etiology,clinical treatment,clinical medicine and the law of medication rule on pediatric adenoid hypertrophy treatment.Basing on the study,professor Guo's clinical thoughts of the pediatric adenoid hypertrophy not only can be better learned,but also have a positive influence on the TCM clinical practice.Methods: Read the ancient relevant literatures and retrieve the related literatures concerned with adenoid hypertrophy of children in modern medicine.At the same time,during the clinical learning time we write down the clinical records and notes through collecting the information of the outpatient cases,diagnosis and treatment.At last,making a summary about Professor Guo's thought on pathogenesis,treatment,medication law of the disease.Result: Professor Guo holds that the internal cause for the Pediatric Adenoidal Hypertrophy is the children ' s delicate viscera and their physical underdevelopment.Combining with external pathogenic factors invading the healthy body,external and internal pathogenic factors simultaneous onset in the healthy body,qi activity obstruction,transformed into heat factor,generating into phlegm factor,resulting in stagnant factor.All of these can cause the Pediatric Adenoidal Hypertrophy.Clinically,in order to embody the holism treatment variation,the doctor should use the five ways of diagnosis,that is inspection,auscultation and olfaction,inquiry,palpation and physical examination,to distinguish the symptom carefully with treatment of invigorating qi and consolidation of superficies,dispelling wind pathogens and spreading pathogenic factors,facilitating the flow of the lung-qi and inducing resuscitation,invigorating qi and blood circulation,promoting the flow of qi and inducing resuscitation based on the syndrome differentiation.In this way,as the children reach the status in which both yin and yang are in equilibrium,they can regain the virtuous circle despite of the vicious circle caused by Pediatric Adenoidal Hypertrophy.All the symptoms will disappear eventually with the naturally depauperate adenoids.Therefore,it can achieve better clinic effect without the possible damage caused by the hormone and surgeries.Conclusion: Through this study,we make a summary of the clinical concept which stands for Professor Guo's etiology,clinical treatment,clinical medicine and the law of medication rule on pediatric adenoid hypertrophy treatment.Professor Guo holds the holism concept,concentrates on the primary cause of the delicate zang-fu organs of children,makes use of the idea of inducing resuscitation.Through this way,remarkable effect can be caught and release the pain of children suffered from the disease,expecially emphasize the advantages of TCM which is safe and good-use.On some degree,the study and summary can make a guidance foe the clinical treatment of Pediatric adenoid hypertrophy Key words: Guo Zhaogang Adenoid hypertrophy Experience summary...
