| Objectives:The aim of the research is to investigate the status of nurses' support for parents and fulfillment of needs in ICU for neonate and children,to evaluate whether the nurses' support can meet the parents' needs,and to analyse the influence factors of them and to explore the correlation between them.In view of the existing problems,the corresponding Suggestions and nursing measures were put forward,so as to provide a reference for the implemention of the Family-Centered Care in pediatric.Methods:Convenient sampling was used in the study.The study selected 210 parents as the research subjects in four third class hospital from Shandong Province and Jilin Province from July to September 2016.The questionnaires includes three parts:the general information questionnaire,the Nurse Parent Support Tool,the Needs Met Inventory.Set up database by Epi Data3.1and analyse it using SPSS19.0.General information was analysed using descriptive analysis,using t test,one-way ANOVA or Kruskal-Wallis,H test to analyze whether the degree of nursing support and fulfillment of the needs obtained by different gender,age,family income and so on are different;Using Pearson or Spearman correlation analysis method to analyze the correlation between them,Multiple stepwise regression was used to discuss the influence factors of the fulfillment of needs,and general data was statistically significant variables as independent variables,the fulfillment of needs as a dependent variable.Results:1.In the research,210 questionnaires were issued,206 questionnaires were recovered,199 questionnaires were valid,the recovery rate was 98.10%,the effectiverecovery rate was 94.76%.2.The score of nurses' support for parents is 65.67 ± 15.82,the average score of each subscales was sorted in the order:Quality care support,Communication and information support,Emotional support,Respect support.3.The score of fulfillment of needs is 131.12 ± 24.23,the average score of each subscales was sorted in the order:Assurance Scale,Information Scale,Proximity Scale,Comfort Scale,Support Sale.4.Univariate analysis showed that there are statistically significant difference on the nurses' support between the parents with different age,educational level,family income,payment of medical expenses,the family living environment(P<0.05).The parents with different length of hospital stay,religious beliefs,cultural degree,family income,payment of medical expenses and family living environment in fulfillment of needs was statistically significant(P<0.05).5.The multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that the score of nursing support,religious beliefs,the length of hospital stay(15~30days),cultural degree(Bachelor degree and above),enter the regression equation of fulfillment of needs and explain 52.6% of the total variance.6.The correlation analysis showed that,the nurses' support for parents with fulfillment of the needs and its dimension were positively correlated(r=0.568,P?0.01).Conclusions:1.Nurses' support for parents was in a middle level and need to be further improved,its factors include age,educational level,family income,payment of medical expenses,the family living environment.2.The fulfillment of needs was above average level,its influence factors include the length of hospital stay,religious beliefs,cultural degree,family income,payment of medical expenses and family living environment.3.There were positive correlation between nurses' support for parents and the fulfillment of needs,the better of the nurses' support for parents,the better of the fulfillment of the needs.To improve the occupation literacy of the nursingstaff,strengthen the nursing service concept of the Family-Centered Care,perfect the parents' support system,which can help to improve their physical and mental state,the compliance and professional identity of the nursing,in order to improve the quality of the nursing service,the fulfillment of needs and the relationship between nurses and patients. |
