Study On He Role Of Clinical Pharmacists In Rational Application Of Antibiotics In Major Hospitals

Nowadays pharmacy and therapeutics are developing as two separate parts,which means doctors are more focus on diagnosing while pharmacists aim at prescription choice.Doctors may need advice from pharmacists on the choice and use of certain drugs,while pharmacists may need support from doctors about the diagnostic inform,ation and therapeutic method of related drugs.As a lack of knowledge on drugs' physicochemical properties,the occurrences of drug induced disease,as well as side effect of drugs increase.In recent years,clinical pharmacy is developing rapidly in our country,however,a huge distance is still existed between us and some developed cou.ntries in Europe and American especially in the medication of antibiotics.In spite of the fact that the medication guide and suggestions have been offered by National Health and Family Planning Commission,certain problems such as over-treatment,drug resistance,and treatment with personal experience are still existed.This project aims at setting a standard mode for pharmacists in antibiotics field by three parts.Through comparing the current situation between China and other countries,three aspects are raised out in this study.This includes antibiotics management at an earlier stage,comments on prescription at a later stage and individualization of drug delivery method in a clinic stage.This project will also study on the role of clinical pharmacists in rational application of antibiotics in major hospitals.
