Objective:In order to summarize the characteristics of age, gender and pathology types and the relationship between the pathological types and clinical diagnosis, and compare the pathological demography between 2007~2011 and 2012~2016,a retrospective analysis of the clinical and pathological data of 4862 renal biopsies is performed. It provides valuable materials for the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases.Methods:4862 patients with renal biopsy in the Second Hospital of Jilin University from January 2007 to December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. The clinic pathological data and the changing spectrum were analyzed according to gender, age, time of renal biopsy, clinical diagnosis and pathological diagnosis. Results:The patients were mainly male patients(52.92%),and the ratio of male to female was 1.12:1.Except for the secondary renal disease and hereditary nephropathy, the number of male patients was bigger than that of female. The average age was 41.59±15.66 and mainly among young adults. The average age increased and the proportion of elderly patients with renal biopsy notably increased.Primary glomerular diseases accounted for 73.49% of the total renal biopsies, whose incidence was the highest. The secondary glomerular diseases whose incidence was the second highest accounted for 23.34%.Ig A nephropathy(32.33%)was the most common patholigic type of primary glomerular diseases, followed by membranous nephropathy(32.31%).But compared with 2007-2011,the detection rate of membranous nephropathy of 2012-2016 was apparently higher, which was even higher than Ig A nephropathy.Lupus nephritis(34.01%)was the most common type of secondary renal disease. The most common clinical diagnosis of renal biopsy patients was nephrotic syndrome(43.83%),followed by chronic glomerulonephritis(36.20%),and chronic renal failure(13.04%).The pathological types were not correspond with clinical diagnosis completely, for instance, the most common pathological type in primary glomerular disease diagnosed nephrotic syndrome was membranous nephropathy(47.78%),while the most common type of secondary renal disease was lupus nephritis.Renal biopsy could make further correction of the diagnosis.Ultrastructural diagnosis had essential, correct and supplementary effect on final diagnosis which accounts for 35.62%.Conclusion:1.The average age of patients undergoing renal biopsy has a trend of increasing and the proportion of elderly patients has increased obviously.2.The most common pathological type is primary glomerular disease.Tthe incidence of membranous nephropathy has increased year by year and the incidence of Ig A nephropathy has decreased. The incidence of membranous nephropathy has exceed Ig A nephropathy in recent five years. The most common type of secondary renal diseases is lupus nephritis.Nephrotic syndrome and chronic glomerulonephritis are the most common clinical diagnosis.3.Renal biopsy can give further correction of the diagnosis.Ultrastructural diagnosis is important for the final diagnosis of renal biopsy.
