BackgroundHelicobacter pylori is the most popular infectious diseases of human. The average infection rate of Helicobacter pyloris in all the world is even up to more than50%.And the infection rate of the developing countries is significomtly highter than the developed countries.High rate of Hp infection in China. The rate of Hp infection(42%-90%)that in different places is different in China. There are many reasons for chronic atrophic gastritis, one of which is Hp.Compared to younger age groups, the elderly are more susceptible to infect Hp.Becaouse their bady were hypofunction, high prevalence of digestive system, and they are more likely to be infected. In recent years antibiotics are widely used, leading to the drug resistance to Hp was rising year after year, the elimination rate of liver and kidney of the elderly has decreased. The incidence rate of the antibiotic's medicines that eradication of Hp untoward effect raised year by year. It's difficult to distinguish that the antibiotic's medicines un toward effect and gastric mucosa injury caused by clinical symptoms. So it's hard-to-assess the effect that eradication of Helicobacter pylori of elderly patients with chronic atrophic gastritis. This paper is to investigate the recent and long-term clinical singnigicance of Hp eradication therapy in the treatment process of elderly patients with chronic atrophic gastrit's.How effective this treatment of Hp eradicationtherapy of the elderly patients? What's the different of Hp eradication therapy before and after the mucosa pathology and clinical symptoms. This article makes an exposition.ObjectiveTo investigate the recent and long-term clinical singnificance of Hp eradication therapy in the treatment process of elderly patients with chronic atrophic gastritis.Subjects and Method1.A total of 99 consecutive patients with chronic atrophic gastritis from the first affiliated hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 2014 to September2015.All cases met selection criteria and were analyzed, and divided them into Radical group and Unradical group.2.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 99 cases who were given electronic gastroscopy test and the 13C-UBT.The Hp infection was assessed by detecting the13C-UBT.Methylene blue-boric acid test the infections of each group.3.This study was used the trip trearapy of amoxicillin, clarithromycin, esomeprazole for helicobacter pylori. The elderly patients who were failed at first eradication of Helicobacter pylori could used the remedial action,And the remedial action is quadruple regimen of esomeprazole, amoxicillin, colloidal bismuth agent,furazolidone.4.Observation recording 4 weeks after treatment and follow-up of 12 months the clinical symptoms, gastroscope and histopathologic examination results.Resistance to all Hp eradication therapy in patients with statistical analysis respectively.Count test data using SPSS 21.0 statistical software, and compared using the chi-square test(x2);with P < 0.05 for the difference was statistically significant.ResultAfter 4 weeks behin the end of treatment, two groups had no statistical differences in the severity of inflammation(P=0.636>0.05),and the same happened inthe clinical symptoms(P=0.696>0.05).And after 12 months behind the end of treatment, the severity of inflammation of Group A was better than those of Group B(P=0.006<0.05).The clinical symptoms of Group A was also better than Group B(P=0.041<0.05).ConclusionRegular treatment of Helicobacter pylori eradication in elderly patients of Hp-associated gastritis can improve the long-term clinical treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis, the recent effect exist some uncertainty.Hp eradication therapy could help with gastric cancer prevention, which has a very important clinical significance.
