ObjectivesUsing peer support ideas and methods of peer support in patients with permanent colostomy colon of self-care behavior.Observation of peer support in patients with anxiety depression underwent colostomy permanent emotional intervention effect.MethodsThis study is a pilot study.In order to prevent the patients in the group with ward will be divided into two groups.Choose between January 2016 and December 2016,a certain level of first-class hospital in Zhengzhou city and this study included in the standard for the first time to accept permanent rectal cancer patients underwent colostomy 49 cases for treatment group,at the same time,choose the hospital general ward for the first time in 50 cases accept rectal cancer patients underwent colostomy permanent as control group.Control the implementation of artificial colostomy conventional self-management education;Patients in the control group,on the basis of peer support intervention.Before intervention in Chinese Virtues Questionnaire(Chinese Virtues Questionnaire,CVQ-96),the simplified Chinese version of the Questionnaire select peer leader training and evaluation,after assessment is eligible,respectively in the two groups before intervention,intervention in 1 month,after the intervention using general data Questionnaire,colostomy nursing care Scale,Hamilton Anxiety Scale(Hamilton Anxiety Scale,HAMA)and Hamilton Depression rating Scale(Hamilton’Scale,HAMD),analyze peer support intervention in the application effect of artificial colostomy patients.The data collected by the establishment of Excel,Using IBM SPSS Statistics software to input data from 21.0 and statistical analysis,statistical methods include: chi-square,independent sample t-test,non parametric test and repeated measurement analysis of variance,α=0.05 as the test level.Results1.Peer Support group leader compared with the other patients: three strengths that Affinity,Vitality,Willpower was statistically significant,including 24 kinds of character strength factor,Affinity factor:team spirit,love,leadership,gratitude,Vitality factor:curiosity,enthusiasm,insight,hope,faith,Willpower factor:perseverance,learning ability,the above 11 character strengths peer Support group leader is better than patients who isn’t peer group leader.2.Two groups before intervention in patients with baseline data comparison results show that in the end,99 patients participated in this study,experimental group in 49 cases,control group of 50 cases.89.90% of men,women accounted for 10.10%,the average age was 52.58±7.32.Between experimental group and control group in gender,age,marital status,occupation,educational level,income and health care types such as general data,clinical course,complications,family history of colon cancer,and social factors such as body clinical general differences had no statistical significance(P > 0.05).3.The results showed that before intervention colostomy self-care of experimental group and control group scores were 30.26±3.19 and 30.12±3.10;Hamilton anxiety scale experimental group and control group scores were 26.63±2.72 and 26.63±2.89;Hamilton depression rating scale score the test group,control group was 22.31±3.73 and 22.08 ±3.70,the above have difference between group had no statistical significance(P > 0.05).4.The results showed that the day before discharge colostomy self-care of experimental group and control group scores were 36.57±3.04 and 36.57±3.21;Hamilton anxiety scale experimental group and control group scores were 19.52±2.96 and 19.52 ± 2.46;Hamilton depression rating scale score of experimental group,control group was 16.94±3.76 and 19.52±3.66,the difference had statistical significance(P < 0.05).5.The results showed that 6 months after discharge colostomy self-care ofexperimental group and control group scores were 34.69±2.79 and 34.69±3.07;Hamilton anxiety scale experimental group and control group scores were 19.84±2.43 and 19.84±2.60;Hamilton depression rating scale score of experimental group,control group was 18.41±3.71 and 20.58±3.71,the difference had statistical significance(P < 0.05).Conclusions1.Permanent patients underwent colostomy self care ability is generally poor,and there is a physiological and psychological problems,anxiety and depression.2.Peer support intervention and health education can effectively improve the permanent patients underwent colostomy self care ability,improve anxiety and depression.3.The effect of peer support intervention is superior to the conventional health education,can better ease permanent pain patients underwent colostomy patients,improve the permanent patients underwent colostomy physiological,psychological,and other functions.
