An Investigation Of Health Education To The Patient With Permanent Colostomy Of Part Doctors And Nurses In Dalian Six Tertiary First-class Level Hospitals

Objective：To investigate the cognition of content，method and relevant issues ofhealth education to the patient with permanent colostomy of medical personnel ingeneral surgery （or anorectal surgery）of the tertiary first-class level hospital in Dalian.TO analysis the existing main problems and put forward the correspondingcountermeasures.To explore scientific， effective and feasible health education mode tomeet the patient’s need with permanent colostomy.Methods： This is a cross-sectional survey for design with structuredquestionnaire survey combining with the method of the depth interview. The method ofdoctors and nurses selected was used by Cluster sampling. Data processing andstatistical analysis was used SPSS13.0statistical analysis package.The questionnairedata was deseribed by using statistical description. The qualitative data was analyzed bychi-square test.Interview with the text material will be to collate， analyze andsummarize the theme.Results：All of health education are made by doctors and nurses in the six hospitals.There were no clear tasks allocation.The content of health education include the mainnursing problems of patient during the hospital， involving less on how to changeostomy appliances，diet guidance，skin care surrounding the stoma. While it is short ofthe localization postoperation，the psychological guidance and rehabilitation afteroperation. The primary methods of health education is language interpretation.Conclusion： To strengthen health education about the localization beforeoperation，the psychological guidance and rehabilitation postoperative.Additionally，methods of health education should be diversified.The team of health education shouldbe formed by the doctors，nurses and the Enterostomy Therapist.They should have a good task allocation and cooperation to accomplish the continuing health education bythe stoma outpatient service.
