Clinical Observation On Qiguishengfa Decotion Combined With Plum Needle In The Treatment Of Alopecia Areata

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of QiGuiShengFa decotion combined with plum needle on treating alopecia areata with qi-blood deficiency type.Method:Selected 72 cases of alopecia areata with qi-blood deficiency type patients in this study,were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group.36 cases in the treatment group with QiGuiShengFa decotion,36 cases in the control group was treated with compound glycyrrhizin tablets.Two groups were given plum needle stab knocking.Treatment for 12 weeks,observed 1 times 4 weeks,record the patients before and after 4 weeks of treatment,treatment after 8 weeks and 12 weeks after lesion scores and comparison,to determine the clinical curative effect.In the before and after treatment,investigate the conditions of mental health of t patients.Results:1.At the end of 4 weeks treatment,the treatment group and the control group are compared with the former,skin lesions scores have no statistics meaning between groups(P>0.05);skins lesions scores have significant difference within groups(P<0.05).At the end of 8 weeks treatment,the treatment group is compared with the control group,skin lesions scores have significant difference(P<0.05).2.At the end of 12 weeks treatment,therapeutic index is considered as criterion of curative effect.The patients of treatment group have the examples of clinical recovery 8 persons,the effective examples 18 persons,the efficacious examples 6 persons,the ineffective examples 4 persons,the total effective rate is 88.89%;The patients of control group have the examples of clinical recovery 3 persons,the effective examples 12 persons,the efficacious examples 10 persons,the ineffective examples 11 persons,the total effective rate is 69.44%.Two groups of curative effect by statistical comparison exists significant difference(P<0.05).3.Mental health assessment shows:Two groups of patients for improving SDS scores after treatment had curative effect(P<0.05),but the treatment group improved more significantly(P<0.05);moreover,before treatmen the two groups of patients' SDS scores and skin lesion score correlation analysis found that both positively correlated(r=0.899);in addition,after treatment the two groups of patients' SDS scores improved and skin lesion scores improved correlation analyses and carried out that the two are positively correlated(r=0.728).Conclusions:1.QiGuiShengFa decotion can significantly improve patients' clinical symptoms and conditions of mental health.2.QiGuiShengFa decotion combined with plum needle is the safe and efficient method to treat alopecia areata with qi-blood deficiency type.
