The Clinical Observation Of Dispelling Wind And Ataralgesia Acupuncture For Treatment Of Tension-type Headache

Objective:To explore and evaluate the clinical effect of dispelling wind and ataralgesia acupuncture therapy for the treatment of tension-type headache.Methods:The 60 patients with tension-type headache were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.The treatment group(30 cases)received dispelling wind and ataralgesia acupuncture therapy.Select Baihui,Shencong,Yintang,Shuigou,Danzhong,both sides of the Taiyang,Touwei,Fengchi,Neiguan and Shenmen point.The control group(3 0 cases)were treated with routine acupuncture therapy,acupuncture Baihui,Taiyang,Touwei,Fengchi,cervical Jiaji points,Shenmen,Zusanli and Taichong point.Two groups were treated one time a day,each time for 50 minutes,and both groups were treated seven days as a course of treatment,4 course in all.We evaluated visual analogue score(VAS score)of each group respectively before treatment,after 2 weeks of treatment and after the end of treatment.Collect the pain intensity score and Hamilton depression score(HAMD)of two groups of patients before and after treatment.Then observe the change of each index,and calculate the total efficiency.Results:1.VAS score:The difference of score between before and after 2.4 weeks treatment was significant when compared respectively between two groups(P<0.05).2.Headache intensity score:After four weeks treatment,the headachintensity score of each group were compared intra-group with the score before treatment,the difference of two groups was significant(P<0.05).There was also significant difference in the scores of headache intensity between the two groups after 4 weeks treatment(P<0.05).3.HAMD score:After four weeks treatment,there was very significant difference(P<0.01)of HAMD score which before and after treatment in the treatment group,while there was also significant difference in control group(P<0.05),but not as much as treatment group.The difference between treatment group and control group was very significantly after 4 weeks treatment(P<0.01).4.Comparison of the clinical efficacy of the two groups,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 90.00%;which of the control group was 66.67%,and there was significant difference between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The method of dispelling wind and ataralgesia acupuncture therapy can relieve the pain symptoms of patients with tension-type headache,compared with conventional acupuncture method,the analgesic effect was rapid and significant.2.The method of dispelling wind and ataralgesia acupuncture can effectively improve the depressive state of patients of tension-type headache;while the improvement in depressive state also contributes to the improvement of headache symptoms.
