Clinical Study Of Chinese Medicine "Xiangbikang" Combine With Cervical Traction In Treating Adult Atlantoaxial Subluxation

Objective:To observe curative effect of the Xiangbikang Decotion in treating adult atlantoaxial subluxation.Methods:60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,31 Patients in the treatment group were administrated with Chinese medicine combined with cervical traction,while the others in the control group were treated by cervical traction.After two weeks of treatment,the clinical curative effects were evaluated and compared between the 2 groups,ADI and VBLADS were measured and observed the change between two groups.Results:In the treatment group there were 3 cases out,22 patients got an excellent result,4 good,and 2 poor,while there were 2 cases out,10 patients got an excellent result,13 good,and 4 poor in the control group.Therefore,the clinical curative effect of treatment group was better than that of control group(Z=2.620,P=0.011).ADI and VBLADS in two groups were no difference before treatment(P=0.651,P=0.510),ADI and VBLADS in two groups were improved after treatment,the ADI was improved obviously in treatment group(P=0.005),and no obvious difference was found between VBLADS of two groups(P=0.182).Conclusion:Xiangbikang Decotion can improve curative effects of cervical traction in treating adult atlantoaxial subluxation,it is worth popularizing in clinic.
