A Meta-analysis Of The Efficacy Of 5-aminolevulinic Acid-photodynamic Therapy In The Treat Of Flat Warts

Objective:To assess the efficacy and safety of 5-aminolevulinie acid-photodynamic therapy(ALA-PDT)in the treatment of flat warts.Methods:Such databases as Wanfang data,VIP,CNKI,Pubmed and EBSCO(1990 to September 2015)were searched to collect the randomized controlled trials(RCTs)according to inclusive and exclusive criteria,the data were inputted and analyzed by Revman 5.2 software.Results:Totally,six RCTs involving 547 patients were enrolled in the study.Meta-analysis showed that the ALA-PDT group was fewer than the CO2 laser and cryotherapy group in the recurrence rate and adverse actions;the cure rate in the ALA-PDT group was superior to the imiquimod cream group.Conclusion:ALA-PDT is an effective and safe strategy for the treatment of flat warts.
