Purpose:Making clinical observation on the fire needle and ALA photodynamic treatment of flats warts, and exploring the two therapies’mechanism preliminarily.Methods:All patients with flat warts were selected from Wuhan NO.1hospital dermatology clinic during2012September to2013March. The selective patients were randomly divided into two groups:The fire needle group and photodynamic group, the fire needle group only used fire needle to cure flat warts, a total of1-3times, at intervals of7-10days; The photodynamic group only used ALA photodynamic therapeutic apparatus to cure flat warts, a total of1-3times, at intervals of2weeks. Lesions change were recorded after each treatment for two groups, and treatment results were observed after6weeks, then all patients were follow-up for3months.Result:Clinical curative effect:Total completion rates of two group were90%, and Cure rate was66.7%in fire needle group which consisted of1cured case,11markedly effective cases,5effective cases and1ineffective case; Cure rate was77.8%in photodynamic group which consisted of2cured case,12markedly effective cases,2effective cases and1ineffective case, the photodynamic group cure rate were slightly higher than those in the fire needle group, and the difference was statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:The clinical curative effect for ALA photodynamic therapy was better than fire needle therapy.
