Translation Of The Perme Intensive Care Unit Mobility Score (Perme Score) Into Chinese And Its Reliability And Validity Evaluation

Objective:To translate the English version of The Perme Intensive Care unit Mobility Score into Chinese,and to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the Perme Score.Methods:The PERME SCORE was translated and adapted according to Chinese culture.The reliability and validity of Chinese version of the Perme Score was tested in 100 SICU patients.Results:The Chinese version of the Perme Score consisted of 13 items in four dimensions.The correlation coefficient between each dimension and the total score was 0.399～0.900,and the content validity index was 0.9923.The structure validity is divided into four factors,namely instruction movement,mobility barriers,in-bed mobility,off-bed mobility,cumulative variance contribution rate is 77.367%,various objective factors to load a value of 0.453 to 0.964.The inter-rate reliability for the Pearson correlation coefficient is 0.993,Cronbach’s a coefficient was 0.853,and four dimensions of Cronbach’s a coefficients are 0.754,0.612,0.893,0.946.Conclusion:The Chinese version of Perme Score scale has acceptable reliability and validity.It can be used to measure the activity of the critical patients in Chinese medical environment.
