Meta-analysis Of Clinical Efficacy And Safety Of Methylprednisolone In Adjuvant Treatment Of Chileren With Refractory Mycoplasma Pneumoniae Pneumonia

Objective To explore the efficacy and safety of methylprednisolone in adjuvant treatment of children with Refractory Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia(RMPP).Methods We searched the Pub Med,Ovid,ELSEVIER Science Direct(SDOS),CBM,CNKI and Wanfang database from the establishment of the database to October 2016,by using the terms(methylprednisolone and Refractory Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia).Randomized controlled trils(RCTs)using methylprednisolone as an active intervention in children with RMPP were selected,screened by inclusion and exclusion criteria,evaluated and Meta analyzed by Revman 5.3software.Results A total of 904 relevant documents were retrieved,29 RCTs met the inclusion criterion and selected for Meta analysis.The results of the analysis of Meta show that methylprednisolone in the treatment of RMPP significantly shorted the time of hospitalization(MD=-3.83,95%CI:-4.51~-3.41,P<0.00001),reduced serum levels of CRP(MD=-23.21(95%CI:-31.63~-14.79,P<0.00001)),shorted the disappeared time of hyperpyrexia(MD=-3.12(95%CI:-3.57~-2.67,P<0.00001)),lung rale(MD=-3.56(95%CI:-4.40~-2.73,P<0.00001))and cough(MD=-3.43(95%CI:-4.27~-2.59,P<0.00001)),in the total efficiency was significantly higher than that of the control group(OR=5.11(95%CI:3.58~7.31),P<0.00001).A few slight adverse reactions of methylprednisolone were reported.Conclusions: In children with refractory mycoplasma pneumonia with macrolideantibiotic,on the basis of combined with methylprednisolone,can effectively and safely improve the treatment effect.
