Objective To explore the possible role of interleukin-1? in chronic prostatitis by exploring the expression level of interleukin-1? in chronic nonbacterial prostatitis(CNP)SD rat model. Methods 30 three-month-old male SD rats were randomly divided into two groups,15 for Control-group,and 15 for CNP model-group.To assess the prostate tissue inflammation of two groups,hematoxylin-eosin(HE)staining was used. Then the expression of IL-1? of the two groups were detected by western blot and SABC(strept avidin-biotin complex)immunohistochemistry. Results The results of HE staining showed that the SD rat model of CNP was successfully constructed.Detection of western blot and immunehistochemistry showed that the expression of IL-1? in CNP model-group were higher than the control-group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions The expression of IL-1? is elevated in chronic nonbacterial prostatitis(CNP)SD rat model and IL-1? may play an important role in the pathogenesis of chronic non-bacterial prostatitis. |
