ObjectiveDiagonal ear lobe crease(DELC),also known as Frank sign, was by the United States Forensic Frank in 1973 for the first time in the New England magazine reported that it is closely related to coronary heart disease, following Frank and then a large number of scholars to carry out related research, most scholars it is thought that DELC is closely related to coronary heart disease and even positively correlated with the severity of coronary artery disease.A few scholars have found that this sign only indicates that aging and obesity are only manifested.DELC is a simple sign,as well as easy to observe and free.Based on traditional Chinese medicine theory,"there are all outside the shape of the outside",to carry out the correlation between diagonal ear lobe crease with coronary heart disease and TCM syndromes.MethodsFrom January to October in 2016,the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine underwent coronary angiography. The patients were collected with coronal sulcus of the earlobe, including the shape of DELC,depth, angle, earlobe type, collection of patients with syndromes informatics, laboratory indicators, coronary angiography results constitute objective indicators, the study of the correlation between DELC with coronary heart disease and TCM syndromes.ResultsA total of 224 patients were included in this study, including 149 patients(including angina pectoris group, acute myocardial infarction group 65),non-coronary heart disease group of 75 people,by chi-square test and binary logistic regression analysis, coronary heart disease group(OR)was 2.464,indicating that the DELC was associated with coronary heart disease(CHD),and the odds ratio(OR)was significantly higher than that of coronary heart disease. There were no significant differences in AHA score,Gensini score and three vessel lesions between the two groups in the coronary heart disease group, indicating that there was no significant difference in the severity of coronary artery lesion. The incidence of coronary heart disease was higher in patients with age less than 65 years.' The positive rate of the coronal tract was significantly higher than that of the negative group. There was no significant difference in different types of earlobes. In this study, the TCM syndromes of 82 patients with angina pectoris were collected, including 9 patients(11%)with qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome,28 patients(33%)with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome,18 patients(22%)with qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome,Heart and kidney yin deficiency syndrome 23(27%),yang deficiency deficiency syndrome 6(7%),the distribution ratio of phlegm and blood stasis syndrome)heart and kidney deficiency syndrome>Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome>qi stagnation blood stasis Deficiency>Qi deficiency and blood stasis syndrome = qi stagnation blood stasis syndrome>heart Yang deficiency.ConclusionIn this study,it was found that there was a correlation between diagonal ear lobe crease and coronal coronary heart disease.Coronary sulcus was superior to coronary artery disease in patients with age less than 65 years. The coronal sulcus was not related to the severity of coronary artery disease.Coronal ditch coronary heart disease in patients with coronary artery disease more severe;earlobe coronary age and age is positively related to age with the increase in age earlobe coronary ditch positive rate can be used as a biological signs of aging;in the heart and kidney deficiency group and phlegm stasis The positive rate of the coronal sulcus was higher in the group and had some correlation with the TCM syndromes of angina pectoris.
