Objective: to analyze the correlation between rheumatoid arthritis and periodontitis, and to understand the influence of periodontal disease index on the incidence and disease activity of rheumatoid arthritis. Methods: 130 patients with newly diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis patients as RA group,50 cases of healthy persons without RA as control group,RA group according to the index of periodontal disease, divided into RA1 group and RA2 group,RA group and control group of periodontal disease examination and serum anti Porphyromonas gingivalis antibody of RA group for Rheumatology related examination, comparison of periodontal status and serum between RA group and control group of anti Porphyromonas gingivalis antibody level, and analyze the relationship between the RA patients and rheumatology between periodontal examination index. Results: 1.The general information: RA group of 130 people,of which 79 were Han,Ethnic minority 51,age 46.93 ± 11.99 years old.The control group of 50 people,of which 36 were Han,Ethnic minority 14,age 41.78 ± 12.61 years.2.the level of anti P.g antibody in RA group was 40.39 ± 55.58pg/ml;the control group, the level of anti P.g antibody was 51.31 ±28.89pg/ml(t=-1.321,P=0.188).3.the level of anti P.g antibody in the RA group the difference between Han and Uygur,Kazak,Hui and Mongolian and other 5 ethnic groups have no statistical significance(Z=-0.081,P=0.935).The level of anti P.g antibody in the control group the difference between Han and Uygur,Hui and other 4 ethnic Uzbeks have no statistical significance(Z=-0.720,P=0.472).4.By Pearson correlation analysis, the correlation between RA group P.g and the levels of RF,AKA,CCP,ESR-DAS28 and CRP-DAS28 scores were not statistically significant.5.There was statistical significance of periodontitis RA group and control group, the detection rate of the difference(X2=8.412,P=0.004).6.There was significant positive correlation between PDI and RA labeled antibody and anti CCP antibody(r=0.398,P=0.044),but no significant correlation was found between RF and anti AKA antibody and DAS28.Conclusion: The prevalence of periodontitis in patients with RA is higher than that in normal subjects, and is more susceptible to moderate and severe periodontitis. There was a significant positivecorrelation between periodontal disease index and RA labeled antibody and anti CCP antibody, but there was no significant correlation between RF and anti AKA antibody and DAS28.Serum anti P.g antibody levels were not significantly different between the RA patients and the normal subjects. There was no significant correlation between the serum anti P.g antibody and the diagnostic index of RA(RF,anti AKA antibody and anti CCP antibody)and activity index(ESR-DAS28 and CRP-DAS28).
