Objective: Xiang Ling Appetizing Decoction has the function of aroma invigorating spleen and promoting digestion and appetiter and can be used to treat child anorexia clinically. This topic has carried on the clinical curative effect observation of the Xiang Ling Appetizing Decoction, and discussed its partial pharmacodynamics mechanism and the safety evaluation, providing clincal and laboratory basis for the research and development of the hospital preparation to treat child anorexia.Method:1.Clinical Observation: Collected 60 cases of clinical cases who met the inclusion criteria(72 cases were collected according to the escaping rate of 20%)to take the Xiang Ling Appetizing Decoction,2 weeks for a course of treatment and taken four weeks in a row.Took themselves as a control group, then observed the changes of main symptoms, secondary symptoms and body weight,as well as the adverse reactions in the course of treatment at 2 weeks and 4 weeks. After treatment, the clinical efficacy and safety were analyzed and evaluated.2.Experimental research: Evaluated the safety of Xiang Ling Appetizing Decoction by acute toxicity test, investigated the effect of gastric emptying and intestinal transit of mice, and the effect of gastric juice, gastric juice p H,pepsin activity and bile secretion of rats,in order to explore the pharmacodynamics mechanism of Xiang Ling Appetizing Decoction in the treatment of infantile anorexia.Result:1.Clinical observation showed that: Statistical analysis was performed on 60 patients selected from the actual collection of the 72 cases. The Xiang Ling Appetizing Decoction cured 31 cases, markedly effective in 18 cases, effective in 9 cases, ineffective in 2 cases, the total effective rate was 96.7%.Comparison of syndrome scores before and after treatment showed that: in addition to "physical" change was not obvious(P> 0.05,the difference wasn't statistically significant),the rest of the relevant symptoms could be significantly improved and gained weight, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).2.Experimental research showed that:?In the single dose toxicity test, the maximum tolerated dose of the Xiang Ling Appetizing Decoction group was 160 times that of the human daily dose and no significant toxicity.?In the study of the experiment of the Xiang Ling Appetizing Decoction on gastric emptying and intestinal propulsive rate in mice, there were no significant difference between the high, middle and low dose groups compared with the control group(P>0.05).?The effects of the Xiang Ling Appetizing Decoction on gastric secretion, gastric juice p H,pepsin activity and bile secretion in rats showed that: compared with the normal control group, low dose of Xiang Ling could significantly increase the activity of pepsin(P<0.01)in rats, however, there was no significant effect on the secretion of gastric juice and p H value of gastric juice(P>0.05).Conclusion: Xiang Ling Appetizing Decoction was an effective and safe method in the treatment of infantile anorexia. Its mechanism was related to the improvement of pepsin activity and the promotion of bile secretion in rats. It's worthy of further research and promotion.
